Good Points: Camera may be easy to use and have a decent picture, but if it doesn't work, these features are of no use.
Bad Points: Camera lens fails to open after just under one year of gentle and light use.
General comments: My Kodak EasyShare CX7430 digital camera was lightly used and well cared for in the year that we owned it. It still looks brand new. The camera lens broke just before the one year mark. The lens simply will not open. I spoke to a lady at Kodak and she suggested, that because I used alkaline batteries I perhaps caused the problem and it is not covered under warranty. When I asked her if I changed to the CRV3 battery whether it will fix the problem she said it would not. Sounds to me like they simply do not stand behind their product.
When it worked it was easy to use, but since it does not work due to faulty design I had to give it a 0 on ease of use.

It didn't cost anything as it was under warranty but it was very inconvenient.
Overall, it is a good camera, but the customer service is poor. The batteries don't last long so if you ...
