    I bought a 42 inch Sharp Aquos LCD television 3 months ago. Today it stopped working. I phoned the store where it was purchased and was told that I have to deliver it to a Sharp service Agent. The nearest agent is 50 km away. I then phoned Sharp for assistance to get a new Television and they said it will have to be fixed, leaving me without a TV for weeks.....So to all you people considering buying Sharp, forget it and go Samsung. My friends mostly have Samsung and will continue to buy Samsung or Sony in the future.

    The Sharp LC-32GD8E 32" LCD TV is good value. All round excellence, but why isn't the DVD connection Scart friendly?

    I had to buy composite video cables, and that entailed selecting an AV channel rather than the DVD playing auto when switched on.
