"That is our practise," he continued, "and we can't do anything about it." I've had a lot of phones from Samsung and other businesses, and I've never seen such nastiness. I'll report it to the authorities, and I'll never buy a Samsung phone again, nor will I suggest it to any family members or friends.

I received my Samsung Galaxy S5. I love it's waterproof, and a very strong battery life. Camera performance is awesome. I no longer use my compact camera as my S5 is now taking decent pictures. Plus it is handier! Some time in 2015 I changed the OS from KitKat to Lollipop. Unfortunately my camera stopped functioning after the update. Any time

“Cellular Phone”

Samsung has always been advanced with their technology but I am very disappointed with my cellphone unit. I have been a Samsung user and 2 of my phones died after 2 years of use. Both of them just died suddenly and when I tried to have it fixed, the price just didn't seem fair for a 2 year old unit. Is that really the standard lifespan of your phones? I have friends who have the same experience too. And to think, its not cheap phones.

“Never Buy Samsung”

I purchased Samsung 65" UN65TU8200FXZA Smart TV. The worst decision I have ever made. Unless you accept Samsung privacy terms, you constantly have issues with the TV picture. I have reset at least once a week. NEVER AGAIN will I have another Samsung product. I kept the TV beyond being able to return, hoping it would get better. Going back to Vizio TV. My personal opinion, do not get Samsung Smart TV. Read reviews. After I replace this TV, it will be going in the 1st Dumpster I can find.

A bit harsh. You know by posting this uninformative review you are accepting Review Centre's privacy terms? That and you've told us nothing of how good the TV actually is in practicality by giving it one star for a single feature that clearly works, but you just don't like.

agree. We run a few apartments and needed to replace all the TVs with larger smart TVs. Regret buying a few Samsung 55"; their UI system is illogical and difficult for normal people to comprehend. Remote is packed with hard-to-use buttons.

The quality of the picture doesn't vary that much between brands so glad we Switched to 50" Sharp; super easy to use.

“Poor service and No response ”

Not sure why my previous post was deleted but reposting: So I have previously posted my concern and nobody has contacted me despite numerous promises. I have now contacted the CEO of Samsung UK on Friday and (surprise surprise) still waiting to hear back but in case he has missed it, here is the email below: -------------------------------------------------- Dear Mr First of apologies for making direct contact to yourself but I have been unable to resolve my concerns having previously contact your customer service team on several occasions. I first reported my Microwave had stopped working about 4 weeks ago and arrange for a Engineer to visit on the 4th November. They confirmed that the Microwave was at fault and 2 parts needed to be ordered and should be resolved in the next 5 days. Since then I have not been contacted by Samsung so decided to chase a response on the 10th November and had my concern escalated to the Customer Service Priority department. I was promised a call back on the following day which did not happen so made contact on Friday 11th November and was told that I would be contacted before 18.00 that day. Again nobody contacted me. I then contact Samsung again on Tuesday 15th November and was told somebody would call me back with an update and again no body contacted me. I attempted to contact Samsung for the final time on Thursday 17th November and was put on hold for over 10 minutes and then got cut off and nobody has attempted to contact me since. Despite daily phone calls on my part I am yet to get an update on when my oven will be replaced, refunded or when the spare parts that are required will arrive. The microwave has been in use for less than 3 months and no longer works. I have been a Samsung customer for a number of other electronic items and have never needed to contact the customer service team but on the first occasion of having to report a faulty item I am genuinely disappointed with the lack of care, attention and service that I have experienced. Can you advise if it is normal process and part of Samsung customer service policy for the customer to constantly chase updates? If this is the case then as ever I again request can you please give me an update? My case number is xxxxxxxx Address: xxxxxxxxxxxx I am more than happy to discuss this with yourself. “Terrible Customer Service & Warranty ”

Bought high end TV which developed a fault whilst under warranty. After 3mths of calls (to foreign call centres claiming to be in UK) and emails I still await repair. They will fob you off and try to make it as difficult as possible to seek repair hoping you give up. My advice is DO NOT buy a Samsung TV. If you get a fault or issue be forceful, do not accept poor resolution, and post to social media. It was only after I posted to Facebook the terrible service and negative feedback that any sort of action was undertaken.

“Samsung smart TV switces off randomly”

I bought a Samsung 40inch smart TV last June 2015, all was fine until February 2016 when the TV just turned itself off,it happened 5 times in a week,My husband rang Samsung and was connected to a man in a call centre in Manila .Unsurprising my husband could not understand him so gave up. I rang Samsung and got through to a gentleman in England , wonderful he talked me through everything and came to the conclusion the TV needed a new mains board ,he booked the TV in to be repaired by a local firm, the local firm contacted me and fitted new part within 5 days ,excellent service,just keeping fingers crossed now as it as gone off once since they have been to fix it .

“RUBBISH TVs and POOR customer service, 3 out of 3 TV...”

Customer service is as poor as their product quality, I bought three identical model Smart TVs in November 14. The first TV developed a fault a month or two after purchase where the remote stopped responding, but it took about a month to resolve because Samsung kept saying the parts haven't arrived and I need to wait a few days yet when the time was up there were no parts only another "wait a few more days". The second TV developed a fault in September when it was only about 10 months old, where it would randomly restart and also the remote stopped responding on occasions like the first TV. After another painful experience with customer service they repaired it. At this point I had one TV out of the three that hadn't developed a fault but it has very little use with it being in a bedroom so that may be the only reason it was still ok. I contacted the Executive Support Team to ask if they would extend the warranty on the remaining TV because they other two were faulty but their response was "I can advise that we cannot provide an extension of warranty on this television and we are confident that you will not experience any further problems with these", clearly a complete guess. However, to my dismay the third TV has infact developed the exact same fault as the first TV. So another painful experience with Samsung's very poor customer service and they have arranged a repair. The question they won't answer nor admit how can three TV's fail with similar fault without there being an inherent fault? Nor will they extend the warranty because they know the TVs will fail and would rather the customer loses out.

I just saw this and felt that you need to know your rights as far as manufacturer's warranty is concerned.

Firstly, your warranty agreement is with the retailer who sold you the tv, not the manufacturer. The retailer may give you a minimum 12 months, sometimes longer eg John Lewis, Lidl, but if your tv fails outside the warranty period then you are covered by the Sale of Goods Act.

This was revised several years ago to cover problems like the one you are having. Basically, when you buy something, you enter into a contract with the retailer and part of this contract is that the retailer is confirming they have sold you goods which are free from all inherent manufacturers faults for a REASONABLE period of time. Now, a reasonable period depends on the type of item you've bought. If you bought a 40" telly at x amount of £100's, you could reasonably expect it to work for, say, 5 years, certainly at least 3.

If the item has broken down in what you would consider an unreasonable period what you should do is, approach the retailer and explain to them what has happened. The retailer is then duty bound to offer you a repair, replacement or part refund, depending on the age and condition of the item. If the retailer refuses to do so, write to them again asking what they are prepared to do to put the matter right. When sending any letters, send them by a signed delivery method, so you have proof the company received the letter. Make it clear that if they do not agree to repair, replace or refund the cost, or part cost, of the item, you will take the matter to court.

If all else fails you should follow through on your threat and take the matter to court, otherwise you are giving advantage to the retailer as they will think you are just giving up on the matter. When it goes to court, a judge will decide what is the best way forward. I would also advise contacting trading standards as all retailers are covered by the Sale of Goods act and must comply with it.

“2 tv's never let me down ”

I ve had a Samsung 42 inch plasma since 2005 and still going strong - used everyday, in pixel issues etc I also have a 50 inch plasma in the living room owned since 2010 and like wise no issues what so ever and it gets plenty of use with the kids programmes after school. Can't fault them, great price and very reliable
