    Bad Points: Toshiba Model 52HM84 purchased in 2005 for over $2300. We have replaced three engines, three light bulbs and have been unable to watch for a total of 3 months. When the parts finally do arrive (after 3 weeks) they are defective. When you try to get help from Toshiba, they do not respond in time, nor do I think they care.


    General comments: I purchased the extended warranty from the store, thank goodness, but when that runs out and I have to pay for another engine, which is doomed to failure, again, I will not be purchasing another Toshiba product.

    Dlp projection tv. model 44nhm84 bought 04-05-2005 the tv has been in the shop 2006 and now 2008 it has a lamp go out which cost is $450.00. please don;t buy this toshiba. This is written by owner John Sorenson

    Comet refused service for after 12 months and 3weeks but i do not put up with rubbish from comet. Toshiba have allowed me to a get my money back or to exchange it for a bigger screen!! Unfortunately I have to deal with Comet but never again I would not buy a lamp bulb in Comet they are worse than car dealers!!!!

    Toshiba not helpful. I am stuck with their massive monster in my house as warranty expired. I was prepared to pay for repairs but Toshiba has kicked me around like a ball.

    The standard of Toshiba's customer support is very poor. I went for a Toshiba TV as I thought they were a reputable and reliable manufacturer. How wrong can you be? I personally will never purchase another Toshiba product again.
