Good Points: Snazzy design. Good features. Irons have gone digital and this little beauty is mint.
Bad Points: The price tag is a bit excessive, and you'll be lucky to see change out of sixty sheets.
General comments: I initially issued our lass with a severe reprimand with regards to the purchase of the Breville IR23 Digital Steam Iron. She had helped herself to a new ironing board too (45 brick), that's about a ton for new ironing equipment. I hit the roof! It's not like the old gear was bust or anything, but fair play to her, she keeps the house nice and tidy and my tea is always on the table for me after a days graft, so I didn't mind her buying herself a few "presents". She is always going on about the features of this product, the impressive 2200 wattage rating, a constant steam source of 40gsm, the button operated steam shot of more than 80gsm. The wife told me that the iron was equipped with a self-clean system and a professional looking ceramic sole-plate, a water capacity of 300ml means she doesn't have to repeatedly trek to a tap for more water when she has a massive pile to negotiate, and her friends seem very impressed with the digital display the iron features. The wife informed me that she was "cock-a-hoop" with her new iron, and she loves ironing when watching her favourite programmes, upstairs of course, as I am the boss of the remotes when I get in from work. So go spoil your wife/girlfriend and purchase her a new Breville IR23 digital steam iron. She'll love it.
