The Rowenta DX9301 tells you when temperature is right for your type of material (green, red, yellow light system). However, after about 2 years of rather sparse use, it has now stopped working. I would concur with a previous reviewer that the jet of steam that comes out of it when held vertically is quite dangerous.

I contacted Rowenta who were very apologetic, and offered to collect the iron and return it when fixed. It was also stated, that if there were a lack of spares, this could take some time. So now I am left with the option of buying another iron, to fill in for this one, whilst away for repair. For a product that is not cheap in the first place, this is my recommendation - buy from another maker. Half the price, and twice the product.
