    Good Points: Easy to buy the policy!


    Bad Points: Will wriggle out of paying out for a genuine claim by finding something in the small print.


    General comments: They refused to pay out for a Nintendo DS as they classified it as computer equipment. What rubbish! It's an electronic game, something that a lot of people would take on a long flight to pass the time.
    This insurance, for covering possessions at least, is not worth the paper you print it on!

    It's impossible to get a refund from them. Everytime they have a reason according to the small prints. Rude people on the phone when claiming, but very friendly when purchasing the policy. I would recommend potential buyers to go for an insurance with their bank. It causes far less problems and they are much faster.

    In my opinion an absolutely disgraseful company with terrible customer services and an appalling policy and cover. Check the small print before considering this company. They also charge you extra for obtaining a paper copy of your policy and do not allow you to start your cover on the date of your first trip-very disappointing!

    An appalling company underwritten by AXA, who have an equally appalling track record in this area of Insurance.
    The moral of the story is, I suspect, that you get what you pay for.

    Having only just started to regularly use travel insurance, my experience with GoTravel really sours my opinion of the industry. I'm still fighting GoTravel's rejection of a legitimate travel claim, and they use different reasons for their rejection each time I appeal. They've redirected me to different companies each time as well. Should you be unfortunate enough to need to claim, you're in for a tough time.

    I have used Go Travel Insurance a few times now and although I have been fortunate enough not to make a claim the service I received means I will go back to them for all my future travel insurance needs.
    The staff are freindly and helpful and the service is quick and efficient.
    I definitely recommend them.

    I found Go Travel Insurance a very fast, efficent and friendly company to deal with. I needed insurance for myself and my family for a city break. I needed the cover fast as I had left it til the last minute to arrange cover. I called and spoke to a very friendly young lady who ensured me that covering this trip at the last minute would not be a problem.     I had to book at the very last minute and I called Go Travel UK Travel Insurance to explain the urgency. The adviser was friendly and reassuring and the policy was processed in minutes over the phone. I had the documents within 30 minutes by email and they were also sent on in the post.

    I have used Go Travel insurance for a couple of years now, and have found them very helpful, polite, friendly and value for money, they have always accomodated my needs, and have been very prompt in dealing with any queries I have.

    I have taken out cover for the first time with Go Travel UK Travel Insurance and am very impressed. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. They also did what they said they were going to do within 10 mins! It is refreshing that company does this in this day and age without having to chase them several times.

    I have had travel insurance with Go Travel Insurance, I have medical conditions and they offered cover for them over the phone, the lady was extremely helpful, frendly and sympathetic. She really did her best to understand our needs and requirements, and being really honest about the policies she quoted me on, I would recommend them to anyone. I have read the other comments and I can honestly say they stick to their terms and conditions on the policy and do their best to settle the claim asap.

    I think Go Travel Insurance are a good all round company, I have been using them for a few years now and never had a problem.
    I have found all the staff very friendly and efficient.
    When I needed to make a claim they kept to their promise of service within the policy wording and kept me informed as to what was happening with my claim.

    I am not organised at all and contacted Go Travel insurance the day before my holiday and they were very helpful and arranged the insurance for me very quickly and I received an email with all my documents within a matter of minutes. Also I was amazed as to how cheap the policy was compared to other quotes I had been given.

    Yes Go Travel UK travel insurance is cheaper than most, and yes you have guessed why, the cover offered falls way short of other insurance companies.
    It is not until you have to use something do you know how good it is!!

    Bought travel insurance twice from Go Travel Insurance. First time, my mobile phone was stolen and I did not get anything back even if I had a police certificate. Second time, I would like a refund because I did not get a visa for travelling from the German embassy. They asked for a lot of certificates and found all sorts of excuses not to give me the refund.     My daughter had Go Travel UK travel insurance and had to return home following the sudden unexpected serious illness of her grandmother while on holiday in Turkey. She only wished to claim air fares a relatively small amount, to be told that grandmother was not included in their list of relatives. On reading small print this in fact was true but such as fiance, sister/brother in law were. We have had no explanation as to why grandparent not included, where are these people coming from?

    Initially I bought online single trip travel insurance with Go Travel UK Travel Insurance. It was simple and quick to use, I completed the transaction in under 5 minutes.

    I had a query on the activities the insurance covered, so I called and was helped by Katie who covered all the points I raised.

    Would defintely recommend them to my family and friends

    I had taken up an insurance policy with Go Travel UK. On returning from my holiday in TURKEY I had to make a claim due to a Hospital stay which cost 310 GBP. I put in my claim and sent all the relevent documentation to them and the claim was started. A few weeks later I received a letter asking for documentation I had sent to them I called them and told them this and this was the last letter I had from them.
