Good Points: The phone came on time.

Bad Points: I HAVE WAITED 8+ MONTHS FOR MY REBATE AFTER SUBMISSION. THEY DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND.

General comments: Phone had problems over problems, though not FonCentral's problem. I will never trust a rebate service again, as I know I will never get it. I have even threatened them with calling Cingular, the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General in the state that they do business, but they don't seem to care. I am now going to proceed with my complaint.

I sent 2 rebates to FonCentral and the bills are the same since it is a family package. They accepted one, but denied the other one. I called their rebate customer service line, who in turn asked me to call FonCentral Customer Service. I was on hold first for 15 minutes. I talked to one person who then put me on hold for 35 minutes and has never come online. This was the second year that I had bought my cell phone (family package) from them. I can't reach anyone at FonCentral by phone. I can't get my $400 back, and the site keeps saying 'check after 7-10 days'.

FonCentral is a big rip off. I bought two Sidekick II. Each with rebates from T-Mobile and Foncentral. T-Mobile sent me a rebate as promised. FonCentral did not send a single reply or rebate. I tried Foncentral customer service number and could not check on my rebate or talk with a human being.

FonCentral www.foncentral.com - Rebate never returns. My $100 rebate is told to be sent to me by April 10th, but it never arrived (it is now May 23rd). I cannot call in because my order number is erased by them, and that number is required for access to customer service.

I bought two phones and referred two friends who bought two phones each. I got the mail-in-rebate from T-mobile right away but the rebates and referral they promised did not arrive even after I sent all the documents required. The customer service phone number does not take you to any humanbeing. Moreover, even if I randomly selected an extension, no one will pick up the phone, no one will respond to our messages. I made the mistake of ordering from FonCentral. I was offered $125 in rebates - $75, which was from T-Mobile. I received the T-Mobile rebate right away. I have never received the two $25 rebates from FonCentral. It is impossible to speak to a human and they never respond to your e-mail requests. This is a horrible company, a total sham. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would definitely not recommend this web site to even my enemies. They denied their own statement made one year ago on a deposit of $300 which they said was completley refundable after one year of successful completion of contract, but now after one year their response is nil. They deny any entry of a deposit on my account.

I found an amazing offer on FonCentral where I would get $600 in rebates when I bought two phones and a family plan. I filled out all four forms very carefully and provided the piles of paperwork they required. 6 months later - no checks have arrived. The customer service line has way too long of a hold time, and they never respond to e-mails using the website form. I would not have purchased such an expensive phone and plan without the rebates. FonCentral: The company promised rebates to me and I did not receive over half of them. I applied for $300 in rebates and only received $150, they state that I must have misunderstood my applications, but I know what I saw in black and white. They claim that this is my fault, but will not show me my original forms to prove it.
