Good Points: Excellent value for money, tasty food, friendly atmosphere very good service.
Bad Points: Could possibly have a bit of an overhaul as far as decoration is concerned
General comments: Having sampled many meals at the Oyster Catcher I felt it was time to delivery my verdict. The service was very good and the staff friendly. The atmosphere was excellent, especially during summer months, and early spring, when you can dine outside in relative comfort with the added bonus of out door heated canopies. The children's play area is lovely. The food arrives on massive platters and is very tasty - it's not gourmet, but then that is reflected in the price and as far as pub grub is concerned it is the best value for money around. Plenty of it and cheap - that's what we like! Our experiences at this restaraunte have alwasy been good, if there has ever been a problem, like the sauce being forgotten the managers have always apologised profusely and rectified the situation immediately. I would heartily recommend a visit to this place - you won't be disapointed.

Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan Varied Oyster Catcher: Wwe went to the oyster catcher, which is run by the hungry horse for our christmas lunch. It was very busy so we had to wait 30 minutes. When the food came out the plates were huge, and very filling, and it was of a high standard. We had a great time there.
