    Good Points: Worked fine for a few months but it doesn't work at all at the moment


    Bad Points: I will have to buy another


    General comments: My JLMS XJ-HD166s DVD drive turned out to be a waste of money. It won't read any discs (CD or DVD), and Windows XP says it has no transfer rate! It has always made a few weird noises as it struggles to take information off the disc, but it finally gave up the ghost a couple of days ago. R.I.P.

    I wouldn't recommend the Lite-On JLMS XJ-HD166s DVD drive at all! Buy something else.

    The Lite-On JLMS XJ-HD166s is very good hardware.

    The liteon 16xdvd-48xcd jlms xj-hd166s is a very fast dvd rom drive great for watching dvds and for ripping dvds its a 16x dvd and 48x cd rom you woulded think so its great i bought 2 off them just in case i cant get them agian and now my sister has got one and she loves it thanks to lite on and its only £28 its a good job i upgraded my samsung dvd i hated it
