Nando's is one of those Restaraunts where you expect to receive a quality service and a quality plate of food for what you pay. Unfortunately this isn't the case.
If I was aked to sum up Nando's food in a sentence, then i'd hit back with this; Nando's food is just overpriced pub food. Also, Nando's is for people who have no imagination or sense of adventurousness when it comes to food (Mmm, Chicken, how exciting! NOT). The only reason I could recommend someone eating in Nando's is if they are… Read Full Review

A complete rip off, virtually no interraction with staff, meal was very poor quality and very small portion sizes. We had chicken wings and chips on a children's meal and a chicken wrap with rice. Portion of rice was little more than an egg cup full and cost over £3. Drink machine broken so only water on offer for children. Portion sizes were very small and even my 5 year old daughter could eat the xx hot peri peri sauce like ketchup, the whole meal cost over £21 wish we had never… Read Full Review

I ordered a chicken wrap and my first two bites was just wrap and lettuce. When I opened the wrap there were two of the smallest pieces of chicken lost in a sea of lettuce. Now I'm not against a bit of salad, but this should have been re-named a lettuce wrap (garnished with a sprinkling of chicken). Where on earth do they get their chickens from, they've got the smallest breasts I have ever seen! I left feeling hungry and vowed never to go back… Read Full Review

I Recentley Went to Nandos Westfield with some of my family after a long day shopping. When we arrived up the stairs we saw there was a que we were told we would have to wait 20mins-45mins which was dissapointing but luckily we only had to wait 10 mins if that! We orderd a £40 platter which consists of 2 whole Chickens (medium heat) And chips and 3 large side orders. After a short while our food came and i must say it was a mountain of food there was so much of it! We eventually got through it… Read Full Review

I was a very big fan of Nandos until recently when I noticed how they cheekily began to think of ways to take more money out of the customers. First step- All the plates and bowls were replaced with smaller sizes so as to lessen the portions of food served. Secondly they increased the prices significantly of nearly all the items on their menu . When I asked the cashier about this, she ignorantly replied "Oh these prices are inclusive of the VAT" when the VAT was clearly not added in them! The… Read Full Review

I can't fault Nandos. Even at its busiest, I've never had to queue for longer than 15-20 minutes. There is a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is gorgeous, I frequently order the chicken pitta and chips, which is always delivered in a reasonable amount of time. In my opinion, Nandos is great value for money, especially as they have the refillable drinks, where you pay about £2 for a glass and can refill as much as you like. Excellent restaurant, I… Read Full Review

This Nandos Branch is lovely. I went here with my Uncle a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I am 12 years old and my 13th birthday is comign up soon, and I am hopefully going to book here for me and a few of my friends as it is a lively place, devine food and great service! Definately thumbs-up!
Though I did have the 'Mild' chicken and it was lovely although it was very hot to be considered a 'Mild' but add some Garlic sauce to it and it is absolutely wonderful! With Mash Potato and… Read Full Review

I have been going to Nando's since they had their first restaurant in Southern Johannesburg. I have even worked in one 11 years ago in London.
The food has gone downhill in my opinion. The livers used to be great and cooked in the proper marinade. The marinade would thicken around the meat and it was amazing to eat with a prego roll. Now it is swimming in a not so pleasant sauce. I don't order it I just make it at home.
As for the chicken pieces, if you order quarter chicken and you get… Read Full Review

Nando's in Bluewater is great, right next to a cinema and nice and secluded. Even though the food may be limited, I always order the same few things becuse i love it. There are many sauces you can choose. Extra hot to mild. I liked the refillable soft drinks you can get and the food is quick. But the tables are quite sticky and it makes you wonder if they clean at all. It is great to go to with your family, friends and partner… Read Full Review

Just been to Nandos at the Showcase in Nottingham - Waited 15 minutes at the tills to order food, nobody seemed to care for customers, the manager obviously has a sight problem as she didnt notice me at the tills. AVOID THIS NANDO'S BRANCH as they do not care for customers!!!!… Read Full Review

From looking at the place it lookes good and the food smelt nice. Unfortunely the menu was not very clear so placing an order was not straightforward. once we were seated was shocked at dirty, my sleeves kept sticking to the table.
When the food came could not believe how small the portions were and quite frankly for the price charged we all found it wuite a shck. The foodwas not that good. The so called "frozen yogurt" tasted like frozen water and the children did eat it. As for the… Read Full Review

great looking restaurant with friendly staff who asked if we had eaten there before and when we said no he was extremely helpful in helping us how to get what we enjoyed. When we asked about the heat of the food he was again helpful so we both had exactly the taste we were after. Liked the look of the place and it was extremely clean with hand washing facilities without visiting the washroom. Cannot wait to visit again and only wish our son, who made a chance remark about it today, had told us… Read Full Review

We visited Nandos on a Saturday at 4.30pm and it was fairly busy, we were quickly seated and a high chair brought for our almost one year old son. A waiter asked if we had been there before and explained how the system worked when we said no - we would have to order at the bar then collect our own cutlery and any sauces - strange set up! We perused the (very limited) menu and decided on our order and I proceeded to the till area where I was met with very frosty service - no greeting, smile or… Read Full Review

A friend and I went to Nandos on her recommendation as she had been there before. I wasn't keen as I realised it was a chain which usually means mediocre, overpriced food. The food at Nandos wasn't mediocre, it was atrocious. The menu is limited, littered with silly, incomprehensible Americanisms and abbreviations and consists mainly of chicken, which you have to queue to order school canteen-style, then choose a bottle of chilli sauce to drizzle on the food when it arrives. I ordered… Read Full Review

Nando's standards have fallen a lot since I stared eating there. The quantity of food is ridiculous to say the least, you'll be lucky to get 10 chips on your plate and unless you ask for a specific cut of meat with your order you will probably end up with a leg with about 10 grams of meat on it! The prices are also very high for what you get!
Atmosphere-wise it's not bad, it has a very unique style and the inventive slogans on the staff's uniforms can be quite amusing.
The sauces are what… Read Full Review

We eat at nandos in kirkstall a few times a month, mainly cause our daughter (aged 3 1/2) thinks its amazing and my husband is portuguese. ! think she likes to see the chefs grilling the chicken, quite exciting if you're small i guess!! good for after the cinema or bowling cause its fairly quick for starving kids. sometimes the wait for tables is up to half hour i think but hte food does come out quick. you help yourself to sauces, napkins, extra plates etc, drinks are refillable and the food… Read Full Review

The chickens are on the small size but that means they are more succulent. For that reason, I always order at least a half and some extra wings or a whole chicken. You can tailor the spice levels to your tastes, I always have mine hot with chips and rice.
Does what it says for a chain and the food is usually quick to arrive and as you pay before you get the food, there is no hassle and stress waiting for the bill to arrive and tips… Read Full Review

I was at the Bristol Cabot Circus venue of Nandos with my fianc e ther other week. Basically, I bit into a spoonful of coleslaw and something metallic crunched into one of my fillings. At first I thought it could be a bit of chicken bone, but it turned out to be a rusty link of chain presumably off of a necklace.
We alerted the management and weren't offered a refund, which I must admit I found surprising. I thought we deserved some gesture to compensate us for an extremely disappointing dining… Read Full Review

I am a lowly farmer who has emigrated from Ghana, and has found himself living in the mad bustle of a buzzing metropolis such as Bromley. At first the shock of moving from the sparsely habited savannah to the urban jungle of greater London was daunting, and required many lessons (twice I had my spear taken from me while walking down the street, often my tribal headdress would get caught in the doors of buses, and I found that my leopard skin loin cloth was both too revealing and not well suited… Read Full Review
