I had visited Nandos, in Colchester. My partner ordered our meal, including a childrens veggie burger at £3.99. The waiter made the mistake of putting it through as an adult meal and asking my partner what salad he wanted on the side. Prompted by the waiter, my partner assumed that you get a salad with the child's meal and requested the Caesar Salad as indicated by the waiter. He paid the waiter and bought the receipt back to me. I noticed the mistake in good time before our meal arrived and straightaway alerted staff, who bought a senior to the front desk. I said I would like the order changed and the full-price adult Caesar Salad removed. I politely said I wanted to pay £3.99 for my child's meal, not £9.10 (a toddler won € t eat two adult sized dishes let alone one). In normal circumstances, I expected that the staff should simply apologize and change the meal, and refund the difference. HOWEVER the member of staff insisted, rudely that this would not be possible and he would not refund my money as the salad had "already been made" (a measly pile of lettuce with 4 croutons and a bit of cheese on top, I bet that was hard work to create). Bear in mind that all this took place well BEFORE the meals were bought to us. It was an uncomfortable experience for me and I did not want to cause a scene in the front of the restaurant as it was my partners birthday and our young daughter was hungry, also I had already paid the bill and this member of staff had given me the clear impression that in any case I would not be getting a refund. The whole thing was embarrassing. During the meal (which was not great) we were asked by three separate waiters if everything was OK and on all three occasions I said I was unhappy with having to pay for a mistake made by a member of staffs mistake and nothing was done about it. Strangely, we were also asked by the waiter who had served my partner and made the offending mistake in the first place. He asked if it was all OK and I said clearly that it wasn't, I even showed him the mistakes on the receipt and said I had had no refund. In my experience of both eating out and of working in customer services AND restaurants, this falls considerably way below my customer expectations. To be treated like this is unacceptable. It ruined the last night of our visit to Colchester. The meal came to £32.35 which was not reflected by the quality of service we got.

This is the only restaurant that allows you to choose your level of "hotness" which is possibly the best part when eating at Nando's.No other restaurant that I know of has that option.

I love Nando's. Their spices are great, with hotness ranges to suit all tastes. The food is relatively healthy, and the service quick. They have a good kid's menu too, and our little one liked the activity pack she was given for free. Puddings are not their strong point, so you are better off filling yourself up on the main course. Fortunately, this is easy to do. Drinks were cheap we thought, as you got free refills. I only wish you could buy the sauce in bigger bottles than the tiny ones they ...

Despite it being a busy place, it is well worth the visit to try out something different in eating out! The sweet courses are a bit on the expensive side as are some of the drinks, but you choose wether to buy them! I/we enjoy visiting Nandos when we can.

Nando's is a portuguese style barbecue franchise that specialises in chicken dishes. The company has marketed its own range of sauces, and it uses its trademark expertise to serve freshly barbecued chicken dishes with little fuss, good price and superb taste. The trademark dish is Nando's barbecued chicken, which can be served in different sizes (1/4, 1/2 or whole chicken) and in different hotness levels. The 'Medium' is hot enough, but if you are keen on your tastebuds exploding, go for 'Ver ...

I would definitely recommend Nandos. I recently went to the Nandos restaurant at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. The food is to die for. They have a great choice on the menu, and the prices were extremely reasonable for what we had. A definite must if you are having a night out with the girls. Great atmosphere!!

Nando's is a nice eatery with a cosy atmosphere. To order some food, you have to order at the counter and pay there and then, like in Wetherspoons, Lloyds or a Beefeater. I wanted to order a hot chicken dish, but I was told that there was none (no problem), so I ordered another spicy chicken dish with a green salad. My husband ordered a chicken dish with salad and a side order of chips. We sat down and waited for our meals, which took about 45 minutes to arrive. My food was OK, and I helped myse ...

I always enjoy eating there! The food is really nice and tasty, and you always feel you're having a custom made meal here as well, as you pick exactly what main you want, with the sides you would prefer, and most importantly how spicy (or not) you may want it! I always opt for mild, and that's spicy enough for me! Nandos is a really nice place to eat; the restaurant is nicely decorated and always looks clean. Staff are always helpful, friendly and welcoming! And I would definitely recommend! ...

I love Nandos, it serves the best chicken ever and I am totally addicted. Any time we are out and about we will always look for Nandos. They have chicken anyway you like it, wings, breast, half or whole and of course the chicken burgers and a choice of salads that the missus likes. Once you have decide which chicken you want you then pick what strength you prefer. I like the hot but her in doors sticks to either the lemon and herb or medium but sometimes even that's to hot for her. My advice st ...

I love Nandos - it's great to be able to pay up front so you do not have to worry about that at the end. They reward loyalty - which many places do not - with a card you can get stamped and then use for free stuff. Although not a massive choice, the food is well cooked and flavoured. Somewhere in between fast food and a restaurant. Nandos is great for a quick bite to eat.

Nandos is a great place for a quick, tasty and reasonably healthy meal. You go in and place your order at the till and they give you your drinks and then a waitress brings the food over. The portions are healthy sized and yummy. They do chicken chicken and chicken. You can get a range of sandwiches, salads or their trademark spicy roast chicken and each thing comes with a range of sides, from chips to corn to salad to rice. You order by degrees of heat and then you can also add a range of sauces ...

Never had to wait for a seat because of the seating arrangements and size of the restaurant. The food is really tasty, I've never had to complain and there so much choice you wont get bored if you want to keep re-visiting. Prices are a little too much but you don't feel like you're not getting what you're paying for, just if it was a little cheaper it would be perfect. The staff are really friendly and always eager to help which is really good. The interior of the restaurant is really cool c ...

I like Nandos very much. They have great tasting food, and I haven't ever had a bad experience there. The only slight complaint that I have is that I have never been to one that has had clean cutlery and plates.

Nandos in Nottingham offer well cooked food, and there is more choice than you would of thought on the menu, and also refillable drinks. The staff are friendly and well organised, and the food is basic with a bit of a spicy twist. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat after shopping or before a night out. It's well priced and enjoyable.

I have visited both the Basingstoke and Southport Nandos. Both have been brilliant. The food is delicious and the extra hot sauce is, indeed, very hot (I'm sure it has become hotter). My only query is that on a meal platter, the menu states it is a whole chicken. However on every occasion we've visited we have been given four quarters. I know four quarter make a whole but chickens only have two legs!

We went to Nandos in Brighton last Sunday and was seated next to the entrance door. The restaurant was really crowded and just like other Nandos restaurant, you need to get up to order your food in the tills and pick up your own drink. Everything went fine until my partner decided to get up to fill the drink for the second time and just realised that his jacket (it was hung at his chair's back rest just about five to fifteen minutes ago) had gone missing! We were so shock and angry that we can ...

Nandos is by far the best chicken place in all of the UK. Don't believe me well the proof is in the chicken, which you can order whole, half, or in quarters. You can have it smothered in Extra hot Peri Peri sauce or, if your stomach isn't lined with lead, you can have lemon or wild herb sauce. Side orders include chips, corn on the cob and spicy rice. There are refillable sodas, Nandinos(kiddies) menu and a smoking section for us chuggers. I won't go into how succulent the chicken is and the ...
