Good Points: Inexpensive. Well built. Fun.

Bad Points: Weird finish. Low FPS. No safety.

General comments: I got this pistol in a package where compasseco was clearing out old pistols, so this may not compare to the newer S2-1, but even so this is impossible to beat for the money. I paid $19 including shipping and got 800 rounds of ammo and oil to boot. I was supposed to get 500 rounds free with the package, but they accidentally sent 400, I called them on it and they sent 400 more! Break barrel. Large wood grip (finished too shiney, but worse things can happen). No safety, so careful. Heavy, but balanced feel. Pretty easy to cock and aim.I expected absolutely nothing from this pistol. I figured at this price it would break after about 50 shots and I'd use the pellets in another beak -in period for something else. I was pleasantly surprised when the pistol turned out to be fairly accurate at 20 yards, and is just fun for plinking in the yard...though it seems to take a long time going that far. Not fair, really to compare to my other rifles, which SHOULD take half the time. It is around 400FPS as advertised. So subtract the ammo and oil and shipping, and this gun was virtually free. Get em at compasseco while they are still there for the special! I recommend them and thier customer service.

The TFSS is a Chinese made clone of a Feinwerke spring powered match pistol. It looks and feels well made with a nice tightness to the whole unit. The big wood grip is comfortable although it looks kind of poorly carved and finished. Just right for reworking possibly. The receiver appears painted a glossy black finish with the barrel, front site and side lever being anodized black. This all sits on a black composite frame.

The side lever pulls back to set the piston and opens the breech then ...
