Good Points: I can get my music on there easy, i can use the controls without much trouble, i can get to my music fast and easy.

Bad Points: limited space, not amazing sound quality,

General comments: So yes this is not the best MP3 player on the market however it does what its meant to you can get your music on there quick and easy and get listening, but if your a sound quality perfectionist im afraid this is not for you.

The first year or so it was doing good, no problems which weren't easily sorted. After that it started freezing every now and then, which requires you to take the battery out then wait for the reboot for about 10 minutes.I stopped using it for about 4 months. I tried to turn it on again, it wasn't working, so i left i on charge over-night, thinking it was a dead battery. Next day it continued to do nothing doesn't work for no apparent reason. You can be sure my next MP3 will be an iPod. Much bette ...

Creative Zem Micro is the worse thing I have ever received in my life. My parents bought it for me for Christmas. It took me 4 months to figure out how to make the player work with my computer. After that it work perfectly. It was the best thing in the world. Then when I went to charge it, it went completely blank. I have tried everything to make the player turn on, but there is nothing.

When I first got my Creative Zen Micro, I was impressed, to say the least.

It has been around 6months now, and I have been effectively turned off any Creative product.

Between the earphne jack breaking completely, the pathetic battery life, and the extremely irritating and ineffective customer service, I have to admit, I am running back into the safe and comforting arms of Apple and the Ipod.

I liked mine at the start and still do because it s easy to use, but the jack plug went on mine so sound in one ear same thing with one of my sisters my other sisters one wiped all her music and wont turn on any more. I now have an iPod classic don't know if I like it or not yet.
ps theres a run down on the net on how to fix your zen jack plug if you want to give it a go.

I bought this after a recommendation from my friend. Once you can use the buttons it is very easy to use. It has a lot of settings and easy to upload songs onto. However after just 18 months mine died and it only came with a disappointing 1 year warranty.

It was pretty bad after 2 years when it broke down and no one seemed to know how to fix it, plus my battery was dying. To fix it, i bought a new battery and restarted the zen (take out the battery, hold it on "on" and put the battery back in while holding it) and afterwards, it worked out fine. It's been like 5 months since i did that and now it works fine.

Other than the sound there wasn't much to like about the Zen Micro. Since I got Zen Vision M which is great. I really don't have anything to compare the Zen Micro with since it was my first MP3 player.

If you don't want your player to last very long, then this is a great choice for initial quality. However, as time has gone on, I have had more and more problems, like refusing to link up to the computer (I usually have to take it out and plug it in again several times before the program recognizes it), and starting after about 2 years of use problems have occurred with the memory (see bad points section).

Honestly, with the craze that Apple iPod has created, I was also willing to hop on one - iPod Nano. However, as luck may have it, I didn't get any new piece in my area! So my shopper suggested that I should try Creative Zen Micro MP3 Player (1 GB, 250 Songs) - he said this is a new entrant in digital music player market, and has quite promising features. With a little scepticism, and my pressing desire to purchase a digital MP3 player, I dared to buy the Zen player.

    My Experience

It impresses people with cheaper players but would think twice before getting a Creative Zen Micro again.

Half way through the new Mika album my Zen Micro died and would not turn on, it's as dead as a parrot. Nothing Creative suggests will work, my friend has also had similar problems with his too. Unit is two years old and hardly used.

I believe that this product should be recalled immediately. I have never seen an electronic product with so many problems.

I was really happy with my ZEN Micro when I first got it, and am now really disappointed with it. I would definitely go with another brand next time.

I have never written a negative review before, but I feel it is my responsibility to convey my experience as a warning to others. I bought a Creative Zen player less than a year ago. After only 10-20 hours of use, it broke (the power switch did not work). I returned it to the company and was charged $25 to fix it even though the device was essentially new. I received it, used it sparingly again, and same problem occurred. I sent it back to them, and now they want $71 to fix the device. I sent th ...
