Good Points: Easy to use, rock solid (in my case though). Good picture quality for a VGA camera. MP3 support. Good value-product relationship

Bad Points: Phonebook is slow to navigate. The camera lens is too exposed, and it tends to get covered with dust. The sms storage capacity. No Bluetooth or IR. No memory expansion. No FM radio. No video. The battery charger's life is really short.

General comments: I've had the Motorola V300 phone for three and a half years, and aside the bad points, it turned out to be a very reliable phone. It fell from my pocket when I was riding my bike, and it didn't even turn off. Maybe I was lucky with this particular unit, but in my experience it is one of the best of its range of price and features.

Also have a V188 Motorola which looks nice but found this to be an utter piece of flimsy junk. Literally comes apart in your hands after a years use. I won't recommend or be buying anymore Motorola junk.

The Motorola V300 looks pretty and has good colour in camera but doesn't charge, poor features, poorly made, opening the phone causes the screen to flicker, etc.! Bad buy.

My Motorola V300 mobile phone was OK for a few months, but then I noticed the screen back-light kept going off, but it came back on after a few seconds. This soon became a bigger problem, and wouldn't turn on at all.

The program operating system is rubbish, and it keeps resetting, even after re-flashing the device. The screen on it gets scratched when it is flipped down. Also, the phone has no bluetooth like other Motorola phones like it. It is also very heavy for its features.

    On a good n ...

I would not recommend the Motorola V300 mobile phone. I am an avid Motorola cell phone user, and this phone is by far one of their worst (besides the T series that were cute, but that's about it).

I bought the Motorola V300 mobile phone with three years of insurance, and the source and Motorola are both messing me around one year later.

The phone is useless! Oh, sorry, the clock works. I talk for three minutes and it hangs up, but keeps charging me minutes until I power it completely off!!!

I have had my Motorola V300 mobile phone for about a year now, and it has been very good to me. I was able to use it in Jamica when most other phones didn't work. I washed it once, and to my surprise it still works.

The Motorola V300 is a badly thought out phone, annoys me like mad! If you have sound on, you can't turn off the annoying T-Mobile theme tune on start-up/shut-down. Hence if you switch on in a quiet place it makes this racket before you can turn sound off! And - any other phone can vibrate and ring at the same time, so you either feel or hear. Not here - you pick one or the other. This means you always go round on vibrate in case you don't hear calls! And you can't turn sound off on the ga ...

The Motorola V300 is a very bad phone and would advise everyone to keep away from it. I have only had it for a year and a half and I desperately need a new one. The camera quality to terrible and mine no longer works. The battery now keeps overheating easily and I don't use the phone as often as most people, it also keeps turning its self off, it has actually just done it a matter of hours ago. I won't buy another Motorola again and will stick to Sony Ericssons, Samsungs or Nokias.

I've had the Motorola V300 about 4 months now and since then I have had no trouble with it the ringtones on the phone are wicked, you can get ringtones such as crazy frog and sweety the chick. The camera on the phone is of good average quality I've seen better but I have seen a lot worse as well. In all this phone is good phone and I would recommend it to most people.

The Motorola V300 is good but with all phones there's always things you don't like. The camrea is very good, very clear, and very easy to use. The keypad is OK because you tend to keep slipping when trying to text. The games are excellent very clear very fast and easy to use. But this phone lacks features like video recording and a radio but overall it's an OK phone.

My phone (Motorola T720) broke and my boyfriend wanted a new phone so he gave me his, a Motorola V300. This phone has been through hell and it still works! The screen cracked, which really sucked. But what can you expect, it was shut in a car door! I was surprised it still worked.

This is the first Motorola I have purchased, and I am not disappointed, it has good colour and super camera, I would definitely recommended it, the games are Stuntman and Monopoly and they are great for long journeys! T zones are good and you can download games. This phone is very reliable but the battery life isn't that great, that is the only problem otherwise but it is a great phone.

Please don't buy this phone, In a year's contract I changed 3 phones, T-mobile service is really bad in the Boston area.
The phone they sent was a refurbished phone which has a warranty of 3 months and will not work after 2 months.
I am glad that my contract is getting over today, and definitely will disconnect it and throw the phone in the garbage or dump under the snow so that the snow plowing guy can plow it along with the snow.

when you're writin a text it doesnt say how many pages you have used (unlike the Nokia), the keys are too close together which will take some gettin used to if you like textin a lot.

The Motorola V300 is decent. It has outside caller ID, in blue might I add. The reception is good, the pictures are some of the best I've seen. Call quality is decent. This phone is also way too fragile though. I cracked my outside caller ID twice, and I'm very careful with my phones. The speakerphone, although a good feature, it kind of stinks. The quality is really bad. Other than that, the only other bad thing I have to say is the lack of a service/status light.

This is the best phone anyone could have. The sound, vision, camera, look, tones, games and internet are all cool though the internet is dear ( 10p a min) via T-mobile. The games are so high quality you will play them for hours. You can text messages, e-mails, tones, sounds and voice memo. I recommend for everyone to get this phone.

I do not recommend the Motorola V300 phone! This phone has serious problems with the power-up. It generally can not be repaired so do not save important data in it. I asked Motorola to replace the phone with a lower quality model and they refused. The service I received from Motorola was at best poor and no assistance to my problem whatsoever. I am a self employed worker who depends on the phone for work and with this phone, I have lost well over $1000.00. In short I say that this phone is "garb ...

Firstly the reception on the Motorola V300 is poor and outgoing calls fail even when there is full signal. Sending texts has also failed sometimes, although this seems to have cured itself. On the plus side the handset looks fantastic and is very easy to use.

While I was initially pleased with the Motorola V300, having moved up from a V60i, the more I used it, the more I was disappointed. The colorful screen is actually a big negative, since it is bleached out by sunlight. The camera is virtually useless, and the wild screensavers and stupid branding (Hellomoto??) make it obvious that it was designed for a 13 year old and not a 49 year old. The keyboard is odd shaped, tiny keys that somewhat resemble the classic touch tone keypad, but the keys are ha ...
