Why oh why does their web page keep failing to work properly? One minute you are uploading photographs and compiling an album, the next minute the screen freezes and you have to 'recover the web page'and start all over again. A job that now takes many times longer than it should do. There are other issues with the site, eg. uploaded photos that 'disappear' or are often so difficult to find. Such a pity as the quality of the end product is excellent. (read more)

I was extremely pleased with the service of Photobox and the Personalised A4 book that I ordered. It was so easy to upload photos to the website and then to add them to the pages. I was easily able to change the layout for each page and then modify again if I changed my mind on the look of the page when the photos were added. It was also easy to add comments to the pages and I was able to change the style of font used for each page if I wanted to or to have the same style applied to each... (read more)

I have used this company off and on for a couple of years now but the site is just too slow. There always seems to be problems with uploading. The quality hasn't always been great either my black and white photos look very greensish with this company. I ordered 800 photos recently and most looked awful. (read more)

Ordered the canvas print and the driver delivered to the wrong address, parcel and the driver not traceable, gave them 24 hrs, refused to give me the refund, going through my credit card company to get the refund, never gonna use the photobox again, terrible replies and answers, managers not available on the phone, buyers beware of this company NEVER USE PHOTOBOX................. I have tried twice to upload three images for output to 20" x 16". When it came to actually outputting, it was not possible to save the three to the basket for ordering in one go, and of course, you can never click "back" for something like this. Ordered two separate A4 personalised 50 page wedding albums before Christmas for my parents and in-laws which were a collection of our wedding photos that they chose. The templates are easy to use and to manipulate. The albums are great and arrived earlier than suggested which was perfect as they were gifts. I'm very IT competent & was confident using the software. All looking really good but constant tecnical glitches meant that I was unable to save my creation. Kept saying 'oops you don't have enough photos to save etc...' this was after 11 pages of work completed! Appreciate that these things happen so started from scratch and tried again. You do just need to add one image to the first page to save and then you will be able to continue. It is also easier to first upload your images and then continue to the creation. Hi mate, You have to create a album first and upload all your pictures. Once you uploaded the photos then work on your creation. Every time you make a change you are happy with save the progress. If you are IT competent you should know this. I never had any problems with photobox so far (been using them for over a year now)

I have ordered photo calendars each of the las three years and have been pleased with them everytime. They've always arrived by chrisstmas too, even when i left it to the last advertised day. Excellent quality. I have also ordered individual prints, they arrived swiftly and were fair quality, but not the best. V satisfied with thank you cards I ordered recently. I ordered two fridge magnets and a photobook. I had a small quibble with the magnets, as i had not accounted for the amount of the image which would not be visible, and received a prompt refund. I've now done several Photobox books and am really pleased with all of them. It takes quite a while to make one, choosing & organising the photos you want to include, but it's worth it. I have used photo box for the last two years for Christmas calendars and photo books for my family and I have to say they really haven't let me down. The products are lovely and arrive in good time. The only complaint I had this year was when I was trying to upload photos from our mac it wasn't the most intuitive to use (previous years I have used a pc and found it much easier) however when it was working it worked very smoothly and I made 7 calendars in no time :-) (read more)

Just lately I've gone a bit mental (new baby) creating photo books, a canvas, mugs, jigsaws and photo prints. I've used a few different companies, usually based on Groupon offers, but I can honestly say that PhotoBox is the best. Both the product you get, the ease of creation and how quickly it arrives beats all the rest hands down. I am sorry that you did not get your order. First time it was send via 1st class post Royal Mail, please be advised that once order is dispatched it is then handed to our delivery partners (i.e. Royal Mail, DPD) and from there the delivery process would be completed. With the Royal Mail, your order should be with you by the next working day although on their advise a five day working week delivery is allowed. As stated in your account in the Delivery Times section (http://www.photobox.co.uk/content/delivery-information), unfortunately because of the nature of the delivery services, we basically put our trust in the services that they provide in order to get orders to our members and very occasionally things can go wrong. It is just very unfortunate that it has happened to you twice. However, if a week after the published estimated order times above your goods have not been received we will re-print and resend at no cost. Redo was placed for you via DPD and unfortunately there was a problem with your shipment, which has led to an investigation being raised against your parcel. DPD is looking into this now.
I am very sorry that we have failed to dispatch a second redo within our estimated dispatch time.As requested I have cancelled and refunded your order back to your method of payment. I have also applied a credit into your PhotoBox account as compensation due to all the troubles caused.
I hope you will accept this from PhotoBox as a token of our appreciation of your custom, and as a further apology for the disappointment we have caused.

I take thousands of photos, delete alot, and of these, print very few: always through Photobox. The service is reliable and in my experience, the quality is excellent. In addition to prints - from small to A3 size - I have created a calendar -much admired, and 2 photo books the second better than the first, although it took ages...a word of advice, only upload the photos you intend to use -not the whole folder. It is possible to crop photos, you can do it in the shopping basket, when you can check your prints and select different cropping options. At the moment we only offer collages in gloss finish, but thanks for your suggestion.

Thank you for your feedback. At the moment you can only browse our website when using your IPad.
If you would like to upload photos to your account, you will need to install our Photobox app, which is the same application used on the IPhone.
You will not be able to make photobooks (or any other creations) or place orders using your Ipad. The reason is Adobe Flash function used by the creation studio is incompatible with Apple mobile devices
Also due to a limitation in the iPad operating system, it`s only possible to upload one photo at a time at reduced resolution. We are working towards developing this functionality in the near future. Check our weekly newsletters for updates.

I don't normally do this but i am so utterly dissapointed in what has just been delivered that i felt i needed to warn others. It's obviously a busy time of year because they have evidently rushed my order through with little care or attention. The online book creation is really easy. And the frequent special offers make it very good value for money. This was the second spiral bound square photo book we have ordered from Photobx this year. This second one was a souvenir of friends' wedding. The web site is easy to use, and the photos are easy to put into the book and the choice of style and background is all we could have asked for. Two days before expected delivery we were contacted by email to say there had been a delay in printing - we feel this was a good customer service technique. The book is absolutely wonderful! Have used Photobox for a long time now. Service has always been first class as has the quality of prints. I have done several photobooks now as they make lovley gifts. Each book has been beautifully made. The one time I had slight damage to a corner (that was probably done by Royal Mail) they took the book back and replaced it without question. I took advantage of the 50 free prints offers on a few prining websites recently. The prints I ordered from Photobox were by FAR the BEST!! They arrived impossibly quickly (still wondering how they managed it, perhaps they borrowed santa....) and the prints were beautiful, glossy and the colours were amazing it seemed almost a shame to shut them away in my photo album. I was the photographer for my dads wedding in October & my wedding present to them was the classic personalised photo book filled with 50 pages full of photos. I used a few pages to write my own personalised things like memorable moments, who was there & the places the ceremony & venue were held. The picture quality is superb. It's quick to upload. The products are varied and interesting. The end results are fab - so far have done 4 or 5 books, 2 framed photos, 2 calendars and I have snow globes and acrylic pictures to come. Christmas sewn up! I created a book as a gift and purchased it with a Groupon token, I have had to ask for a re-print 3 times because of glaring quality issues. The first book printed black squares where I had filled in the boxes with white images because I wanted blank pages, the second book had inky roller marks on many pages and the third copy I have just received has RED TAPE stuck over a page and a whole page that has been scribbled on with black marker (and printing quality issues) and that was after I... This year I have had several of my photos made into greetings cards by Photobox and the quality is excellent.They use a good quality card with a nice gloss finish and the cards are better than two other companies I have used. Turn around time is usually good and this week it was even better, less than 4 days. Postage costs seem a bit high but overall good value as the cards are so appealing. I was very impressed with the finished item although it took me awhile to work out how to add extra photos to the book . I think you would have to be quite computer illiterate to succeed at first attempt . Also it took ages to down load my photos in the first place. Thats simple because they don't want to know. Unfortunalty Ive been using them out of necessity, im a wedding photographer and as soon as ive written this im going to source someone else. They simply dont want to help with condescending would be helpers on the phone... I had a christening to upload to the pro gallery but half way through it failed, only thing they said was 'im sorry you feel that way' I COULD TEAR them to pieces when theyt start with the im sorry its an indefinable time it takes to repair.. after all its technology.. ( god only knows where they got her from ) SO.. im using technology to solve this.. its knows as using the internet for someone else.. LEAVE WELL ALONE!

Hi I am a customer as well and I agree with Serelli, in essence upload speeds are so slow. I tried to upload family photos with a view to saving them online and printing out an album. However after several hours of uploading, only 3 phots (circa 5mb) had actually uploaded.
I have given up, but would like to continue to use the service. So if photobox can indicate when they are less busy and upload times are better, I would be happy to schedule uploads during quite periods.
