Good Points: Get free prints through Virgin Media Photo quality reasonable
General comments: Seem to have problems sending photos to correct address (last time we got someone else's photos, this time someone else got ours, together with our address!).
Therefore I would argue there is a risk of personal photos and details getting into wrong hands which in my experience has been too high therefore I do not recommend photobox.co.uk.

I have not used photobox for over a year but had not really had any problems. I used them to buy a photo book everything on the site was fine but when I was sent the dispatch email I noticed I had made a mistake on the address, I have now spent 3 days trying to contact their customer services to sort it out but as far as I am aware I have not yet received anything back of emails and the phone either rings out or is busy in my experience?

On the evening of Sunday 15th June, I signed up to Photobox so I could get some of my digital photos printed. I could not upload via the website (kept getting the message "upload failed", with no further details), so uploaded via the FTP service they offer. FTP worked perfectly and my FTP client confirmed that the pictures were in the "temporary" album. However, the pictures were not viewable via the website it seems (prints cannot be ordered until the pictures can be viewed on the website)

I've used photobox for a couple of years and never had any complaints. However when I logged into the new site all of my albums were deleted, some with photos that I hadn't stored elsewhere. I have now emailed them 4 times and have yet to have an answer. I would really recommend you use them with caution!

If you are in a hurry don't risk PhotoBox www.photobox.co.uk. I waited five days for some urgent Wedding prints even though they promised their service was fast & reliable.
When I complained their Commercial Director they said they would investigate, but failed to respond. Also waiting for response to my latest email.
Best use Jessops in store 1 hour printing service, if it is important or urgent work.

Being a new customer I thought I would try their photo-book first. However without any notice that I was aware of they pulled there 2 for 1 promotion early. (Should have been until the end of April in my opinion).
Despite emailing & phoning customer services and not getting anywhere I feel, I continued with the order as I had invested time putting the book together.
Then after waiting for 10 days I find they deliver someone elses phtotographs!
Not a good start for a new customer and I do not ...

I bought a couple of photo calendars to give as late christmas presents. Photobox had best prices I could find, uploading photos and designing calendars was very simple, quality of calendars was super for the price and was pleased to give them as gifts. Delivery took a while (as would be expected over christmas) but they still sent an apology email and some free photo credits - nice touch! Customer service at photobox is non existent. I have been trying since 14th December to contact them by email and phone to no avail. The phone number is always engaged when I have tried and my emails are ignored (other than the initial automatic acknowledgement).

I had only used the Photobox website service once before recently, and the service was quick and acceptable standard of prints.
So we thought we would put several orders in, with in the set 'required order date' by photobox to order for delivery before Christmas. Several weeks on, numerous phone calls, emails and complaints later, we are still waiting for a response, dispatch, and delivery.
We have not been able to deliver cards or family presents by New Year let alone Christmas!

Customer service at Photobox is useless, and the telephone line is permanently engaged, and emails have not been not responded to. I resorted to calling the office directly. When I do speak to customer services they assure me delivery will arrive the next day, but I am always let down.
I will never use PhotoBox again. Utterly pathetic service.

Have so far failed to deliver the christmas cards I ordered so I have missed the last post. Made worse by lack of communication re delay . Emails not responded to and phone not answered. HUGELY disappointed and would never use again

I've used photo box for about a year and was very happy with the results and service. More recently they have failed to impress. Items are often missing from my order, recent delivery had a 12x8 print covered in finger and palm prints and more worryingly their color reproduction and general picture quality has been sporadic at best.

I have always been delighted with the quality provided by Photobox and in the past the orders were dispatched within a few days. It may be that this is just blip and they will get back on track soon. I hope they do as I love the photobooks they produce and would be reluctant to go elsewhere.

PhotoBox offer excellent quality products at very reasonable prices. The website is easy to use and there is a great range of products. However beware! I had to wait for a minimum of 10 minutes on hold. Staff didn't telephone back when they said they would. My complaint letters and emails were not replied to. In my opinion, the customer service is very poor.

I visited this site on recommendation from a friend as they had an offer on which was your first 30 prints for free, with the only expensive being to pay for delivery. Since I'd not had my digital camera long I thought id try this first to see if it was easier than using a photo machine and I can safely say I thought it was great.
It's easy enough to register and you can add your photos easily enough, even though it can sometimes be a lengthy process to upload them obviously depending how many ...

I've used Photobox 6 times now and absolutely no complaints. My last order was for 530 prints and they were delivered in less than 24 hours! Excellent quality on good paper and I like the way the date the picture was taken is printed on the back - very helpful when you have a lot of prints.

Photobox is a great site for sending your photos off to print. I forget how many years our photos sat in folders on our pc just waiting to be viewed. When I discovered Photobox I promptly sent them all to print, at a cost of only £20, which I thought was very cheap. However its not so competative when you are only printing 50 or 100. But the ease of online printing overcomes that.
