    Very disappointed that a make you trust breaks down after only 18 months!!! Only had 18 months and it will not wash the full programme. Will not do a quick spin so i can empty the contents.

    I have had my hotpoint machine for 6 years now. In the 1st year the drum became loose and shook everytime you did a wash. Now being that there was only me and my partner we were using the machine once or twice a week to do light loads. The engineer came and replaced the drum unit. Then a week later the same thing happened again so the engineer came out and replaced it again. Well we havent had much issues with it until recently when we went out for the day and came back to find the machine ...

    I bought this machine for my elderly parents and was delighted.

    After a few months my mother called to say that with the door open and the machine unplugged, hot water was still coming into the drum at a steady trickle.

    I went round and sure enough I found my mother baling the hot water out of the drum just before it spilled out of the door. I shut the door and went to find the necessary off tap that, like most installations, it is buried at the back of the kitchen cupboard and practically ...
