Good Points: Very easy to use and interesting to use as well. Lessons are very short so you don't get bored. Recommended by our college tutors because it works.
Bad Points: The software does not tell you how many hours you have been learning to type.
General comments: The software is based on 200+ lessons that you have to complete before going back over them and working on those that caused your problems in the past. It's very easy to complete the lessons because they are all 50 to 55 letters long which means that you never get bored because your next grading is only about 20 seconds away. After each lesson you get a grade from a Gold 'A' down to a red 'E' to show how well you have done on that lesson. Press any key and you are on your next lesson.
Touch Typist is easy to use, interesting because it gives you lots of feedback and it does work well. It was recommended by our college tutors because they tried a few and decided to install Touch Typist on all the computers in the college.
The software has a good website at www.typingtutor.co.uk which is probably the best easy to remember web addresses for typing tutor software.
