    Brilliant, I would strongly recommend Harumi's Japanese Cooking, as would my 3 year old son who loves 'mummys new cooking' Easy for a beginner with more difficult recipes as you get used to them. very easy on the palate with practical advice and useful tips and photos. My copy cost £20, which is quite a lot. But you are paying for authentic cuisine and an insight in to Japanese family culture.
