Bad Points: The Casin isnt cosmetically the best on the market.

General comments: The DMTECH DML-4117WD TV is value for money and I would recommend it since having mine for over two years now. Dvd Player is amazing. The Dvd player plays all region Dvd's and its fast forward and rewind is really fast.

The LCD TV looks good but no point if the thing doesn't work! Absolutely rubbish piece of equipment!

The DMTECH DML-4117WD is a rather expensive LCD TV! The idea of having an on-board DVD is good, as long as it works. My DVD'S keep getting stuck. I had to take the back off to sort the problem out. That was about four months ago, and the DVD has now suddenly stopped working altogether, and I can't find a contact number for D M Tech.

The remote control has to be exactly inline with the sensor on the television, or it will not work. With other appliances I can bounce the infra red off walls all around the room, but with this you need telescopic sight to aim correctly.

I took my television back to Comet and demonstrated the problem, but it was clear from the moment I walked into the store that I would not get any help or a refund/exchange. The staff at Comet were very unhelpful, and they quoted me the riot act about the ...

The problem of dead pixels with these DMTECH screens has obviously been a major one because you can now pick up dead pixel sets from discount electrical retailers for about half price - and they don't seem to be in short supply!

This is how I purchased one, and I have to say the single bright-green dead pixel is barely noticable from a sensible TV viewing distance, but if I was using the set as a computer monitor, it would be very annoying indeed. I certainly would not expect to find any dea ...

I bought a DM Tech for my wife's birthday. It would not Tune in. I took it back to Comet where they managed to get it to tune with a very poor picture so told me to go home and try again. To cut along story short I couldn't get it to tune in my house or my neighbours but could through a video player and at my mothers house who was tuned to a different signal to me. I took it back to Comet who were extremely unhelpful and after a long heated row said they would only take it back at a reduced rate ...

Brought one of these just after christmas, got it back home plugged it in and it worked like a dream. Sound quality was really good and so was the image quality. Until about a week later when the back light went on it, so the thing died. Took it back to Comet who replaced it with another one, but the screen image was a yellow colour, and also the sound was very bad on it. In the end we took that one back and got a full refund. Can't fault Comet they were very helpful, but I wouldn't buy a DMTech ...

I bought this product one week ago on Christmas Eve as a gift. I was looking for a reasonably priced small LCD screen, with two scart sockets for use with Playstation 2 and a DVD player.

I couldn't find one, so the sales assistant recommended the DMTECH DML-4117WD with an integrated DVD and one scart socket.

Initially I was worried about the brand as I had never heard of DMTECH before. The sales assistant assured me there were no reported problems with the products.

    The television was ...
