Good Points: Very pretty tree.

General comments: Bought a DrFestive $300.00 tree after Christmas last year at half price. This was the first year it was used but half a string of lights did not work. We added an extra string of lights, so no problem until a week later when the other half went out. Too late to add more lights. Can't afford to buy another tree so I'll use this tree again next year but will add more lights. I will never buy another prelit tree.

I bought this drfestive tree last year, the day after thanksgiving. Right after christmas the bottom strands of lites went out. I tried to get in contact with the company, but couldn't. I called sears , where I bought it, and they said that I needed to contact the manufacture. I guess I am out of luck, and stuck with a pre lit tree with no lites.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing my DrFestive Boto Inc Artificial Pre-lit Tree. I've had it for two seasons now. The first season I used my tree, one section of lights quit working. This season, two more sections of lights quit working. I ended up having to buy lights and string them. Who needs a pre-lit tree if I have to do that! I had another brand of pre-lit tree for years without any trouble. should have stuck with that one.I would not recommend this brand of tree to ...

When buying a pre-lit tree, keep in mind that the lights are wired in series, and if so much as one works loose, or the shunting device in an individual lamp fails when it burns out, the whole section will go dark. you need to be prepared to either remove each lamp and replace with a good one until the section re-lights, or buy a wand style lamp tester that can actually detect the burned out lamp. They're like $17-$20, but worth it.

This is the first christmas to use this tree and there's no working lights in two sections. urned out lights including the one you can"t change. I do not recommend this product.

I call myself saving trees and saving decorating time by purchasing this pre-lit tree from K-mart. I wish someone had told me not to buy this particular brand. Now I have to go out and spend another $100+ on another pre-lit.

So much for a pre-lit tree!!! I am having problems with the lights!! This is the second Christmas with this tree & half the lights don't work, they are actually burnt!! I always had a real tree & decided to by an artificial one last year, boy do i regret it know.
I sure won't buy this product again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Same problem with my tree. Half the lights out on one string on the bottom. Went online to find out the Polygroup.com purchased BOTO. Emailed them today to see if they will back the warranty. Will post their reply if I ever get one.

I have got the Boto Inc Dr Festive artificial pre-lit tree and I have been having the same issues as below. Just bought it last year and its not been as good as I had hoped. I have had trouble with this artificial pre-lit tree, mainly becuase its just a tree now, definitely not a pre-lit one.

Out of the box this tree looked great. except for the few dozen branches that were poorly attached. 2nd year and what a difference. Entire sections of lights out. I too found the "non replacement" lights. The instructions inside the box state that if the "special" bulbs burn out then the entire section of lights needs to be replaced. I see no way that the gurarateed thousands of hours of continuous lights will ever happen.

This tree is horrible & thats only half of it. Their "800" number says it has changed and they give you and new one that says this number can not be reached from your calling area. Their email came back that it was invalid. I had it up one week and a row of lights went out a week later another row. I tried everything to get it to work. I wonder when the next row will go. I think it is sad that Sears got themselves involved with this manufacturer. I guess I have to eat this $260 purchase.

The tree is beautiful. When all of the lights are actually working. The top section went out, company unreachable, anyone have any remedies? This artificial tree is very pretty but i cant rate it well for value for money

This is a nightmare. Not one of the sections on the tree work. The special bulb that cannot be replaced is also burned out. The warranty hotline rings busy constantly. They have not returned any e-mails. I am out of my money for a brand new tree! Not one light works! This is coming right out of the box.

Back your product up and answer the toll free number. very displeased! The Boto Inc. Artificial Pre-Lit trees is beautiful but the lights suck in my opinion. The top half of my lights went out, did everything the instructions said and the lights still not working. Bought my tree last christmas and its wasted money. I am also now finding it difficult to get in contact with anyone about the warranty.

I paid about $250 for my DrFestive tree from Boto Inc. Its an amazingly beautiful tree when its working. All the strands worked for 1.5 christmas'. One whole section went out in the middle of the holiday season. :(
I changed the fuses, like the directions tell you to do, and they were fine. Mine is a prelit with "Surebright" technology, (never out) so it still works even when a bulb is out. The directions say you don't have to check all the bulbs, Thank the Lord. So I emailed the company that ...

My husband told me not to buy any more bargains like that. I got this tree after Christmas last year. My husband & I was putting it up and just about all the lights on the bottom of the tree had burned out.

I am saddened by the other reviews which makes me think something has happened to this company. I have not been able to find anything else online to locate them, but I would buy again just because I love my tree so much.

my cousin and friend and mom was going to get one of these trees I would not recommend this name brand to anyone the store wouldn't do noting about the problem either!!!Top of the tress lights went out and I found the first bulb on the strand of lights was also burnt. I have had a lot of problems with these lights.

Bought this artifical pre-lit tree from K-Mart's Trim-a-Home brand. Setting the tree up the very first time, parts of the lights did not work. After going over the tree bulb by bulk, found a problem, fixed it. Set tree up, some of the branches drooped, fixed branches. Decorated tree, turned the lights on, MORE lights did not work.
