Good Points: For a first time Kayaker It's great. Easy to handle on and off the water. really stable, easy entry and exit. A really good deal for the money, Love it.
Bad Points: I'm 6' tall and just barely fit in the cockpit with the the adjustable foot rest. If you are over 6' I would think twice about this yak. 1" taller I would not have bought it. Remember your PFD will add an inch or two. So put one on at the store when you try the fit test on this yak.
General comments: This OT Rush Canoe was a great buy, I am very happy would recommend to any one. My kids have used it and could paddle and steer with no problems. My wife tried it out, she is in love so we will be shopping for another one.
A great kayak.

All in all the Old Time Rush is a great boat for children or adults. It would make for a great beginner boat, or one for the paddler who wants to get out by him/herself for the day. It is hefty, and it may take two people to lift althought I know some who can put this boat on or off their vehicle independently.
The price is right and you could paddle it all day comfortably due to the comfortable and adjustable seat. I would not hesitate to take it out on lakes, bays, or moving water.

The OT rush is a great kayak, it can handle class two rapids if your careful. Handles great on rough open bodies of water due to combination of width and length. This is the perfect kayak if you want to go on a day trip or around the lake.
