Good Points: Real camera sized body with a professional feel and adaptable threads to just about any lens. Nice BIG screen and plenty of functions added for the professional, But still simple enough for the newbie to photography.

Bad Points: One battery?, My DSC-120 came with two, Why not this NEW one? Charger in the body is fine (just like all others), but a backup battery is needed. The stand-alone charger was an additional $50 and did not come with it? Lens prices from Sony are of course OFF THE WALL, so get a thread adapter and buy what you want instead.

General comments: I have used MANY camera's, both film and digital. The Sony CyberShot DSC-V3 digital camera however, is the beast that I have been waiting for! Now more tiny cam's for me! I love the real-camera size feel and how I can adapt just about any lens or filter to it. Also, with the standard hot-shoe it can be adapted to some REAL flash-systems, but I did find that the built-in flash works just fine!!! I liked the night-vision and night-shot option for pictures in the dark... really cool!. Thanks Sony! Like I said, I have been waiting for this thing for YEARS. If you buy this one and are NEW to photography... Do yourself a favour and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! It has many options you won't "get" until you try them.
