    Good Points: Nice tone on low volume and quite light (easily portable)


    Bad Points: Distorts past half volume and has alot of noise


    General comments: Good for a practice amp but loses all it's tone when trying to play a gig

    I have been playing this amp for about eight years now. I have an upright bass with a David Gage/Ned Stienberner Realist pickup. This amp has never let me down. It is a workhorse. We do many gigs and I've used it in many settings with great succsess. We do mic the amp through the main head out to the speakers which helps broaden the sound. The bass amp is heavey though; 52 pounds. I have just purchased a Galean Kruger MB 150E; weight 26 pounds. So I will not be lugging my favorite bass am ...
