“I am absolutely disgusted!”

I booked a ticket to Bournemouth to see my daughter who was able to get some free time from her School in Barcelona. I don't get to see her very often and as I am now 85 with heart trouble I cannot travel out there. However my plans changed and my daughter will not be coming to Bournemouth again so I rang Nat Express to cancel my ticket. “appalling ”

What a shambles of a service.rude drivers.it took 30 minuites to remove a foreign passenger that wasn't meant to be there.now they reckon the whole coach has stopped working and we are stranded in Sheffield.as well as waiting for a fitter to come and clean a bit of sick.never seen anything as bad as this.i want a refund or something similar I've never been so dissatisfied with a service.poor poor poor… Read Full Review

“Misogynist driver mistreat women passengers ”

A very worrying and insulting incident with driver at Heathrow T3 bus station Two mature ladies returning home after all night long haul flight, we hold prepaid Nat. Express E-tickets for the 07.40 am service to Brighton, both are tired and anxious to get home asap. Bus access gate opens at last minute,no verbal nor display directions about how to proceed with your luggage. We booked tickets online for a return trip to/from Bow Road, London. On our arrival at Stansted, we discovered the location would not be Bow Road, but Mile End - not great. Our return journey was booked for 15:40 on Sunday, March 13. We waited at Mile End (as instructed) from 15:30. The bus did not come. My daughter went to Canterbury for a few days break, on the 7 30 coach to Gatwick, straight away the driver greeted us cheerfully and took ,our luggage and put it in the hold.It was an awful raining day, and traffic was really bad, when we got to Canterbury he apoligised for arriving late, even though it was only 10 mins. National Express timeline from London to Airport Stansted says every 20 mins. I was waiting since 11:30am for the bus that should come at 11:47am. no bus arrived, I thought maybe the next one at 12:07am but also this bus didn't arrive and then the 12:27 bus arrived at 12:35. not sure why National Express says every 20 mins on their website, absolutely not reliable, traffic was empty today... by the time I arrived to Stansted they closed the gate to my flight!!!… Read Full Review

Waiting 4 cars back at the traffic lights on Mansfield Rd Nottingham just outside the new Aldi , the lights change to green and in my mirror as I'm moving off I can see a National Express approaching fast in the outside lane it is obvious that there is no room to fit his coach in , I sound my car horn to let him know I am there, but he carries on and I have to stop so he can do so. I have never before in my life witnessed others being treated so poorly on a method of transport. One member of staff at Manchester Central Coach Station treated a passenger like a pet, whistling for his attention instead of a simple "excuse me" , pointing at the ground in front of him until the passenger walked over to him. I had purchased 2 ticjets for a bus to stanstead. Arrived 15 mins early to be told the bus was full and I would have to wait 30 mins. I had proof of purchase, my bus time and id arrived on time yet I wasn't allowed as our seats had been given away. Absolutly terrible attitiude from your staff. Tried to approache men who is selling tickets and buy ticket for comming bus.Men sitting on the bus stop answering his personal phone.Me and two other ladies stanting infront of him, he didnt even acknowledge us, after few minutes when i asked if he can sell us ticket- continiously on the phone, looked at me if I cant see he is on the phone! Went on national express from Gatwick to Southampton on the 1 St jan 2016. The driver on the 1605 coach from Gatwick was a fantastic driver and was extremely courteous and helpful. Even though there was hardly any traffic he arrived 10 minutes late at Southampton. This was absolutely no problem to us, however during a normal working day with greater traffic volumes it would have been impossible to arrive anywhere near the scheduled time. Take great care if using the service to Heathrow or Gatwick. Until recently if your flight home was delayed and you missed your coach you could change to a later coach for a £5 fee. Now they only give 15 minutes after your coach has gone then they cancel the ticket and you have to buy a brand new one. Effectively paying twice for the same journey. They offer at the time of booking that you can pay an extra £5 to be able to change for up to 12 hours of delay but charge you for both legs on a… Read Full Review

The cost to use National Express coaches is reasonable and sometimes a better way to get somewhere without using the trains. The worst thing about National Express is the drivers. Although the driving is good, I have never seen a more miserable, unhelpful and rude set of drivers in all my years of using public transport. Worst customer service ever... Wanted to use two times in two weeks time to go to the airport. Huge delay!! At least one hour. So both time I've booked the tickets online but I needed to use taxi service to make sure I'll not miss my plain. Don't use them just of you have at least 3-4hours to go to the airport. To come to the city from the airport is ok, but is not enough for a good service.... So it cost me two times £12 + 2x£52 taxi... If you have other option don't use them!! About… Read Full Review

Son has been waiting an hour for service from Golders Green to Birmingham. The tracker service and customer service state delays due to Christmas lights being switched on. A number of questions therefore: Why dont this large multi national company make an effort to find out about potential delays in local areas?
