    MORETHAN insurance - This insurance company is TOTALLY unprofessional in dealing with their clients.I accepted a quotation for Motor insurance from them and paid the premium. On receiving the documentation there was an error THEY HAD MADE on the drivers birthdate. On contacting them to correct the error they insisted on charging me a £20 fee for the correction
    I was unable to speak with a senior member of staff and didnt receive the promised callbacks. I have since cancelled the insurance. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL. If they are incompetent at dealing with new business heavens knows what response you will get during a claim

    Had an accident where a gentleman came into my lane and cut me up. Had damage to my bonnet.

    It took More Than 5 WEEKS to let me know they would actually fix the car! Was never contacted and told what was happening! Call centre is overseas so always having communication problems! ONLY WORK IN OFFICE HOURS SO YOU CAN NEVER SORT ANYTHING ON A WEEKEND OR AFTER WORK!!!! POINTLESS!!!

    Finally collected my car 6 WEEKS later to be repaired and no sign of a courtesy car! Again had to chase it up!

    More Than car insurance sent a letter in advance of my renewal date in early November and my wife paid in adavnce by some two weeks basically within a couple of days within receipt of their notification letter.We thought (wrongly apparently)that we had paid for our cover.     Absoloutely awful. Taken my money and then Im told I have no insurance as I havent paid. What they've done must be illegal. Call centre not uk based and can be communication difficulties. Dont do what they promise. Never again. I will pay the extra for a better company in future, avoid.

    I too changed my address to one with a forecourt and garage to park the car securely. I thought this would mean a reduction in the premium. No cahnce. Not only was there no reduction but I was charged £15 for for the address change. I have refused to pay and demanded that More Than justify the charge in writing. More Than certainly are more than!!!

    Fully comp + Euro recovery, But still left my family stranded at M25 recovery depot on Saturday night! No customer service out of office hours!

    Following a minor collision in roadworks on M25 on Saturday night, called More Than help line to report accident, but found they don't work outside office hours (M-F 9-5).     My problem with this company appeared when they charged me £15 for change of address recently. Took them seconds to do & sent me a bill for this amount. Pay up within 2 weeks or get your insurance stopped. Obviously making enough cash that they can risk losing & alienating customers for this. Pffft. Poor.

    well ive been happy with Morethan, spend over 900 pounds a year, i have two cars and house insured though them. To my shock this year i found that they are not renewing car insurance with there full for life no claims protection, although i have never claimed it would be nice to know that i could have a trolly from tescos hit the car and its coved but not now! you only keep your no claims protected if it not your fault! althoiugh its in there booklett still. i will be taking all my insurnace to ...

    Rang More Than up for a quote. Right from the beginning you could tell she was on auto pilot reading from a script. Promised me that they were going to give me the best quote ever. When she got to the excesses etc, I stopped her and said that her quote was already £50 over my renewal with Saga, let alone the excessive excesses.     I bought this More Than insurance purely on the back of More Than telling me that my girlfriend would get my no claims discount when she went on her own insurance, they called it no-claims mirroring and because my girlfriend was a new driver this was great and would be more than usefull when we got another car.     More Than Car Insurance are the best insurers i have found, people with littlemoney like me can't always afford big deposits. more than did not require a deposit. awsome.

    More Than Car Insurance is absolutley useless, accidently cancelled my insurance and only found out about this when trying to tax my car. Then took ages to gt in reinstated as they contradictory information about payment made.

    My wife had a small accident with our car insured with MORE TH>N. Just one phone call everything was sorted. I was surprised with the efficiency. Their recommended repairer DWS was fantastic. Pick up the car and returned in a week's time. Offered a courtesy car which I declined as I didn't need one. The car came back beautifully repaired and was cleaned inside and outside and a life time guarantee certificate of the work was given.

    Experienced driver, fully comprehensive cover, with protected non claim cover. Rude staff, slow response, been treated unprofessionally. Never again to insure with more than, will cancel my other car insurance also.

    I have dealt with plenty of motor insurance companies and I have found More Than to be the worst I have dealt with. I dont have a problem wih overseas call centres the problem I have is that they dont seem to insure against very much. You cant have your partner or spouse as a named driver-they will only tell you this after a claim.They have a lot of clauses which you only realise after you need to make a claim I would recommend as with all policies to look at what they do insure-which as I said ...

    My 22 year old son insured is Peugeot with them. At 11mnths 2 weeks, he bought a Toyota but they refused to give him another year no claims bonus even though he had to go through Morethan "select" because of the type of car.(£900). Within 6 weeks of insuring, his car was wrote off by "postman pat's van". Postman Pat's company took full responsibility after 2weeks and settled the claim for damage, sent a cheque etc. Morethan wont close down his account because it is "still active with the ...

    more than car insurance are cheap, that's the only reason I went with them. there are two things about them that are so ridculous that I would advise not to go with them. first thing- they use Indian call centres. these jobs should be given to british people. secondly, they refuse to quote me on any cars that are remotely powerful, I have been refused quotes on a 106 gti, 106 rallye, 205 gti,golf gti130, and focus 2.0 despite the fact that I am 22yrs old and have 3 yrs no claims, no convictions ...

    Oh, where do i start? My wife and i have had a joint policy over the last year with More Than. In September she reversed my car into another so called More Than.
    They said she couldn't claim through her policy part because it was my car. Convenient as i has 1 ync she has protected. They also said that because i wasn't driving it would not effect my ncb. This in itself took an hr of explaining to someone i didn't understand.

    More Than Car Insurance are not the cheapest, which is probably why they are named that.

    I kerbed an alloy in the ice this year. I wasn't able to get hold of a replacement wheel through Mitsubishi as they have discontinued that style. Tried a number of scrap merchants & wheel specialists to no avail. So I thought I would see if More Than's super network garages could get hold of one. I was told 'yes we can help you'.
