  Good Points: None

  Bad Points: Read the policy when you receive it!!!!!!!!! I can't believe we are not insured to drive "to and from work"? correct me if i am wrong but for most people this is the main use of their car.? Absolute nightmare!!!!!!!!!! do not use more than!!!!

  General comments: Wish i had stayed with my old insurance company. got "more than" through tesco car insurance compare because it was cheaper to add my daughter who had just passed her test. My daughter had an accident that was not her fault but the other driver was drunk and not insured.!!!! I phoned "more than" to inform them thinking no problem they will sort it out? Big mistake!!!!!! 3 weeks later and we still havn't received any decision on our car. We have not received any curtosy car? I get mad when i see the advert on the telly!!!!!!!!! take no notice. in 34 years of driving i have never had so much problem with any insurance company, ever!!!! I will never recommend this company to nobody.!!!!! I wll return to Swintons my original insurance broker. But am stuck at the moment because my car is at the insurances recommended repairer waiting to be fixed?

  The service I have received from More Than Car Insurance after some elderly man smashed into my parked car twice, is absolutely terrible. I am still waiting for a response from them (MORE THAN)since last September. My car still needs to be repaired and I am now in the process of going through the Ombusman process to gain some sort of remedy and closure.

  I was recently car jacked, which means I was beaten up, dragged from the car, and my car stolen. More Than are argueing that an undeclared SP30 from 2006, and a no fault accident on a company car in 2006 (unrelated to this policy), is sufficient grounds to call the policy null and void.

  I had a claim just recently with More than I had modifications added to my car on the 9/01/09 and I had an accident on the 10/01 when I was actually on my way to my house to get my documents. They have repudiated my claim under rediculous grounds. I also even spoke to customer services and asked them to add the mods anyway to my policy before they repudiated my claim and I was told they would not need to add these mods as they did not increase top speed and after they so called cancelled my poli ...

  It now six weeks since i paid for my new policy with MoreThan. I have still to receive ANY policy documentation despite 6 calls. I have however had 3 or 4 temporary cover notes! They tell me they are waiting / unable to get any confirmation from my previous insurer.Ironic when it is with another part of Royal Sun Alliance (volvo insurance).   got a quote from more than on one of the comparison sites. could not review the quote so rang to complete. when paperwork came through there was a mistake and so had to ring again to clarify twice. they then took the whole amount out of my account instead of monthly installments . was put through to india when i needed to complain and got nowhere. then told would have told have to cancell policy and start again and then told could not insure as had a two week ban that they were made aware of at ...

  More Than Car Insurance has competitive priced insurance with add-ons included. Fingers crossed you never have to claim! Very poor communications. My car was t-boned ironically on friday 13th back in 2007. I was able to drive back home but the collection of my car and courtesy car dropoff took a number of days to complete.   We would award More Than with a gold medal. This is the best insurance company we ever had. We had to make a claim and we received and excellent service. We didn't have to move a finger, everything was arranged by them. We were a bit worried due to our previous experience with Norwich Union but the cheque was issued and received within a week. Great job, More Than!

  More Than Car Insurance is a brilliant company. I would highly recommend it to all people who are dissapointed with their current insurance companies. I had so mouch problems with AA Insurance before and More Than has been great from the start. They dealt with my claim very quickly. I don't understand people complaining about stupid mistakes on their policy. That's not the end of the world. You will only find out how good More Than is when you have to make a claim.   Their call centre is a joke in my opinion, I asked them to put my insurance in a set date and they decided to set it at a latter date, I had an accident and been though lots of problems, I have talked to MORE THAN 15 different people to handle the case for 5 days and I havent finished my claim yet- I dont even know if they are going to proceed with it!! a good advice would be not to choose them!!never- comes much more expensive than you would think!!!More than means more problems than you could ...

  I was rear ended, back in August, whilst stationary at a roundabout. I did all the right things, but had to phone up to arrange a repair garage ( they wanted to send me 60 miles from my home!! ), chase the garage to complete the work, chase the claims department for an update........not much of one because they hadn't done much.   I have called my car insurance because I saw that on my statement that the direct debits hadn't been taken. Spoke to the first advisor and told the girl that I though the money had gone out of my account but realised once I get the statement it hadn ' t.   More Than car insurance could improve their ciustomer service and care. Cutting costs will not improve service. I just hope I don ' t have to report a claim. Next year I ' ll probably pay more money and get a decent service. Cheapest most certainly isn ' t best.

  Every operator I dealt with gave me a different story. I would never recommend anyone to go to More Than for car insurance, and because of my experience with them on the car insurance, I would never go to them for any other kind of insurance either.

  Myself and my partner have been with More Than for a few years now, but we will be going else where from now on. The last couple of years the policy details have been constantly incorrect, my partner was in tears last week because she had her 10th set of insurance documents through the post, and yes they were wrong again, each time we phoned them and they failed to correct the problems.

  Don't know what you are all moaning about. I have been with morethan for over 5 years and never had a problem. When I had an accident (my fault) could not fault the service I received one bit. If you dont like it stop moaning about it and go elsewhere.

  I had a none fault accident nearly 3 years ago. I paid my exess of £200 and guess what! We havent heard anything since despite many calls and promises. My wife left More Than car insurance a month ago, but we are still waiting for proof of no claims to give to our new company. We have phoned every day and been told, it will be in the post that day on three occasions. Its not worth the hassle to get involved with this company!
