Good Points: Positive message History Talkin about things relative to what's going on Matured as an artist
General comments: Nas, Street's Disciple - Nas' new album is FIRE!!!
He has matured over the years, unlike many rappers. His growth is amazing. He has some new upbuilding messages for his listeners. It's sad that other rappers can only talk about money, sex and drugs. Nas does his share of that. But at the same time he talks history and he plants some positive food for thought in the head of youths. It takes a lot of talent to spit it the way he does.
The video is soo real. Especially with what's going on in the world today. It was really real for me. Especially the part about soldiers away in Iraq. I lost my brother over there so his words are real. I can't worry about him anymore, but I sure did wonder what in life was going on every day he was gone. Everyone can relate to this song because it's talking about what's on all of our minds. It's really real.
