    Delivered our new tumble drier quickly and as arranged. No complaints, I'd use them again.

    Do not use dixons, very bad service.. bought a plasma tv and within 3 months it packed up, have been waitin nearly a month to be fixed with still no joy!! AVOID!!!!

    What a joke DIXONS are, I first checked with them that the plasma TV I wanted was in stock and was told yes so I ordered online from there web site and got a confirmation Email stating my order would be delivered 14 days latter, after waiting 13 days I received another Email saying the TV I ordered was out of stock and they would now deliver in 28 days time, I Telephoned them to cancel the order and after being on hold for 23 minutes was told that they have a backlog waiting for refunds and ...

    If I could give Dixons on line zero stars I would. Ordered product that indicated in stock and paid for a delivery
    from the on- line site to be on the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and no delivery. Phoned Dixons several
    times using their paid 084 no where promises were made that they would phone back. E-mailed them several times with no response. Five days later they said delivery would definitely be in 2 days times. How wrong were they.

    I have just taken delivery of a cooker which was advertised on the Dixon's website as having a double oven. Unfortunately when it arrived it was only a single oven. After a very stressful morning on the phone to them the best they can offer is £40.00 goodwill gesture or a refund which we are unable to take advantage of as having two children we need a cooker now.     wouldnt buy again from dixons online!
    Initially order and delivery was fine, problems started when the lg 42 inch tv appeared to be faulty. We was told that we had to have 3 repair visits before a replacement could be issued. As it turned out on the 3 occasions an engineer called it was a different fault and therefore a different part replaced..From my experience Ive spent litrally hours on the phone being passed from one dept to another each time.     ordered a camera on Tuesday, cheapest I could find from a company I had actually heard of. Paid £5 extra to have it delivered on a specified day. It arrived on the day. Camera is great, no problems

    Searched around the internet for a Sony Micro hi-fi, with 3CD deck. Found one I was looking for for £116 delivered with homecinema.co.uk, but out of stock and not likely to be back in stock. Dixons next best price at £129.95 delivered and in stock. Simple website meant that product could be ordered in a matter of minutes.     Where to start. Placed order with Dixons and received an email confirming receipt. As this was a key item I asked when I could expect delivery. I was told that it could take 28 days, which differed from the advice on line.

    Ordered a Panasonic LCD TV and stand from Dixons which were in stock at the lowest price available on comparison sites and which were delivered within a few days. Easy to navigate through online ordering process and then received e mails confirming order.

    I hope this review goes somewhat to help others to decide whether or not to buy from Dixons. My reason for going there in the first place was purely on price as the TV I purchased would be the same specification wherever I got it from.

    Ordered an LCD TV from the website at an excellent price and so was very pleased. As the price was so good I was happy to accept that I would have to wait upto 28 days for delivery (Almost unheard of in this day and age).

    Dixons web site says item in stock so I order selecting delivery date. Phone me 2 days later to say out of stock but more being delivered in 3 days time and to phone then. I phoned and was told to phone the next day as the items weren't sorted. I phoned and was told the item was out of stock for a further weekI will never buy anything from Dixons ever again. The customer service was of no use what so ever, but they were very sharp at getting my £300 and gaining the 10 days interest.

    I bought a home cinema system online from comet and was given a specific date of delivery. Although I was charged a bit extra for this I didn't mind as it allowed me to arrange to be present for the delivery. My delivery slot was between 0800 and 10 30 and my purchase was delivered at 07 55 on the correct day. I can't speak for other people's experiences but until I get bad service from any of these suppliers then I can not fault the service that I have had. Well Done Dixons!

    Purchased a mobile phone from Dixons and the sound quality was poor, could not turn it on and off easily, seemed very plastic and looked nothing like the picture in the advert.
    When I phoned to return they said the phone had been used and I could not return it. When I asked how I was to try it without using it they seemed very unhelpful to me.

    I bought a double oven from them. It was not fitted till after their 28 days. It is faulty and they say I have to have it repaired. I do not believe this to be true as it is less than 6mths old and was supplied faulty. They also say it is up to Belling to replace it. I feel this is wrong as they sold it so it is their responsibility.

    Took no notice of their own extremely generous delivery period. Place many clauses in their terms and conditions to excuse their poor service. Offer to sell goods which they do not own or have access to from the manufacturer. Take your money before agreeing a contract to supply and deliver goods.

    Unbelievably bad service. I do not recommend ordering anything from Dixons online unless they are the only people on earth who sell the item you need. About a year ago I ordered a plasma TV and it took 4 attempts for them to deliver it (a variety of excuses ensued from confusion, mix ups at warehouse etc). Despite my irritation at the time I actually managed to forget how bad Dixons online were until my partner recently found a good deal for a DVD/surround sound system with Dixons online. It ...

    Purchased a Hitachi stereo on line for the wife's birthday. Took a day off work to receive delivery, product did not work and had a component missing.

    Numerous (and lengthy) calls to customer services, tell me I wouldn't be able to exchange it in-store as they have no high street outlets and Curry's won't accept it (despite being part of the same group).

    I've told them I want a full refund (including delivery charge) and that I won't be buying anything from them or their affiliates again.
