As a company we have been a firefly customer for some years, and I have there customer service to be quick to respond and polite and helpful.
We largely have had excellent reliability. I would definately recommend them and have....
If I had just 1 moan it would be that through our own necessity and request we have a low speed requirement but get charged on a much higher band rate,

I agree with the people who said they were rude and appalling. I can't believe people like these exist in the world. I have never written a review for any shop before but I was so incensed by how rude they were and how sarcastic that I felt I must warn people.- Read Guest's review (52 words)

A few years ago, Firefly were outstanding. I've had a few more problems, particularly with email, in the last year or so. But their customer service is excellent. It's a rare thing these days to be able to phone up a company and get someone to answer almost immediately and provide a friendly and helpful response.- Read Guest's review (56 words)

If I was writing this review a year ago they would have got a ten. I have been with Firefly for about 4 years and during the first 3.5 years they were brilliant. I recommended many people to them during this time which I feel quite embarrassed about it now. I chose them as even though they are more expensive that most ISP they did not block ports or impose download limits.

I have been with Firefly for many, many years, first as a dial-up, and now with broadband, and I wish every company I dealt with was as courteous, as knowledgeable, as helpful and as professional as they are. I live in the wilds of Wales with a BT line prone to strange faults, and Firefly are superb at sorting out the occasional glitch. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I would certainly recommend. I have been with Firefly for 4 years now first on ADSL then broadband. There have been occasional problems but they have always responded really quickly to calls or e mails. Very satisfied overall.- Read Guest's review (46 words)

As far as I am concerned they refuse to answer my queries re changes to their prepaid service. I then topped up with another £25 in the hope of getting details of their new conditions. They have not yet replied and I cannot find out by when I need to have used my prepaid hours. At that time goodbye Firefly.- Read hkay's review (59 words)

Firefly is a good, solid and reliable ISP. My only problems have been that they switched me off once when I was on holiday (my card had expired and did not realised!) and when I was back during the weekend I had to wait until Monday to get everything back.- Read anton333's review (66 words)

I have only been with this company for 2 weeks but wow what a service. After my bad experience with another provider I was very cautious with this company. They have surpassed all my expectations, they answer the phone quickly, they understand what you are saying, you understand they are saying and they are able to help with any problems. Firefly are a really good small ISP, they excel in their customer support. When you call them, they answer very quickly and you talk you engineers.
I have been with them for 10 months now - I moved house during that period and they were very helpful in dealing with BT (there was a line problem that BT had to sort out before I could get connected)
They now offer a capped service (5Gb which is enough for most users) at comparative costs with the main suppliers eg. BT, Tiscali, AOL etc

I have been with Firefly (www.fireflyuk.net) since Feb 04 and recommend them to everyone. The only problem at the moment is their mail server has some gremlins and is down once a month.
