Good Points: 2nd visit to hotel, already knew rooms were small, but don't mind as booked the hotel because it is for adults only, our last visit there was no children and had the best holiday ever. Oct 07.
Bad Points: This year 08, we went in May, and there were children there, had disagreement with manager as we thought this hotel is only meant to be for Thomson group customers, and for adults only.
General comments: Two of the children were visiting their grandparents, which was bad enough, but a few days later a family with a young boy booked in, all we heard for days was "I'm bored" and he left toys around the pool area, jumped on and off sunbeds, the parents didn't seem to care that he was disturbing other guests, the manage didn't seem to care either, the young Thomson reps, (both in their first reps jobs) were very sweet and did try to help, but the manager seemed just as rude to them as he was to the guests, he refused to sign our complaint form, have since complained to Thomson, will not be returning to this hotel mainly due to the manager being so rude with us, rest of staff were great, food OK, great hotel for getting out and about.

Overall the quality and service at the hotel was very good. We chose this hotel because it was adult only, there were no children there the weeks we stayed but I believe they do let children stay. We had no problems getting out and about as the local bus service was very good, I would recommend organizing your own trips out, had a great day out in Palma at a fraction of the reps price. Visited Son Amer show, absolutely fantastic, not to be missed, although the included meal was poor.

Great position, nice hotel. Only booked hotel because it was adults only and there were quite a few children at hotel. Needless to say Thomson were totally uninterested in complaint. Loved the position of hotel, food wasn't bad and the hotel was very clean. The entertainment wasn't the best but the worse thing was presence of so many children.

We have gone to the Bonamar Hotel for the last five years in Cala Bona. Thomson have now made this an adult only hotel, which for me is not a problem but a few returning guests with children, they were told they could not return and their deposits were refunded. They then contacted the hotel direct, who informed them this was Thomson policy and not theirs. Thompson had 100 room allocation and they had the rest and proceeded to book these guests direct, so people booking an adults only hotel thro ...

Hotel Bonamar - The best holiday we have ever had, we have only been home a week and are planning our return in September. The hotel is fab although rooms are small they are manageable. The staff are so friendly and we made some good friends. The resort is orientated to the older generation, but there is plenty of night life without it being in your face. The beach at Cala Bona is lovely to relax on and is good for snorkling.

The bonamar hotel is situated ideally for a short walk to the beach or shops, the hotel itself is kept very clean and the rooms may be small but are in good decorative state, and cleaned daily. We stayed half-board at the Bonamar and found an excellent choice of food, which was well presented and fresh. The one major disappointment we had was the restaurant closed at nine o'clock and by eight o'clock the staff started setting tables for breakfast, this made you feel that you had to rush you meal. ...
