Bad Points: Twoo weak holes on shore end of course. Buggies a must.
General comments: Palmares has superb views. A brilliant course through forests and on hills. Good food and bar and not too pricey, friendly helpful staff and soo relaxing. I would love to retire here. Take time to relax after golf and eat out on the veranda where you will be joined by hundreds of small song birds and other wildlife at close hand.
The most relaxing golf club i have ever visited. Make sure and bring cameras for great sea views and wildlife.Great food and athmosphere.

It is a course I would definitely recommend. I love the shape, the views and the landscapes. The price is reasonable as well for the Algarve. For more information, I recommend, http://www.estorilgolf.com/en/?sec=golfcourses&id=427

I've been going to the Algarve for 7 years now, and Palmares is the one course that never fails to disappoint. The course is always immaculate and off the course, the service and quality of the food is always of the highest order. Prices are relatively good.
There is not a bad hole on the course, nor an easy one. The views from the 17th tee are the best I've seen anywhere in the world, it is a fantastic hole.
Top banana.
