I visited the USA for three weeks (I am Dutch) and had a balance of $20, just used $5 in june 2012, last week I had an "auto balance" of $25 and this amount will be charged automatically from my credit card, i never used their card after my holliday! (read more)

“Fraud Calling Card Company”

I bought my calling card and when I tried to make a phone call two days later I found out that there was 0 balance my card. I've only used it once to call my family for 30 minutes. When I contacted their customer service they said that I have used it all to call another country for over 100 minutes. I could see all the records from my online phone statement. “Buyer beware”

I bought a Cloncom phone card about three months ego in desperation because I lost a relative and I wanted to contact my family. It was impossible to make the card works so I never used it. “Too many interruptions after a couple of minutes talk....”

Too many interruptions while calling. Dialing again is an automatic 2 minutes charge. recharging is a mess too. Recharging unsuccesfully 20 dollars the first, the second will 40,,the third 60, etc. No way we can change that, It is frustating. Rene Rodriguez (read more)

“advertised rates not correct”

I opened a Cloncom account to phone a friend in Cuba. Their adertised rate was good compared to what I had been paying with another company. However the adertised rate was a joke! For example when one dials a destination number, one is told by Cloncom how many minutes of talk time one has on the account, and in my most recent call I was told I had 41 minutes on my account, but despite this, after 24 minutes the call was cut off as I received the audio message that my credit had run out. I bought the card because it said it seemed honest and fairly priced. However, I did not talk but for about 15 minutes and it used up $10...I would not mind but what annoyed me was that they refilled the card with $60 dollars from my Credit Card without my authorization. Man, I just ran into this same issue of being auto recharged by cloncom without my knowledge. I emailed them yesterday and yet to hear back and I can't find customer service number. Now I read your review and realize there is not a customer service number and sounds like they are not going to help me out when they do call back. I have since went into my account and "turned off" the autorecharge feauture. I should not have been auto recharged in the first place though as I still had minutes left on card. Frustrating!

I've been a Cloncom customer for almost 4 years now. I contacted customer support only once, and the issue I had with a local access was resolved in less than a day.

The Sonico Green card I use has always worked up to expectations. I inadvertently left the auto-recharge configured when I first purchased.. was pissed of at first, but it's actually a great feature.

I had a card for many years. No problem in Australia and US. Then in mid 2008, the Australian dail in number would outright reject my PIN - even before it was entered.

I have numerous iterations with the help desk to noavail. Ihave been given alternate dail in number (not connected), another dail in number (Spanish only), a new PIN (11 digits long) doesn't work ("incorrecto"), my old account tranferred to new card, cancelled, and then debited a "recharge".

Today I signed on to the PC to Phone service offered by Cloncom.com. I thoroughly filled out all the information they requested. I was waiting for signin name and pin and got nothing. I logged back in to website and go a message that said "my account was temporarily terminate" with no reason. Poor connection in my experience;
It seemed cheap for me, but in the end, I was paying one of the highest rates available on the market as far as I am aware;
It sounds like, for the caller and for the one being called, I was speaking from a tunnel, in other words, it's hard to hear and be heard.
The worst customer service I have far personally experienced too.

Customer service are relatively quick for e-mail responses. However, in my opinion Cloncom Connect is not worth the money for me personally. The access number and toll free nomber have connected me twice... thats 2 out of about 90 times trying to get a connection. I still got 90% of the amount on the card, but unable to call for that money since the card refuses to connect me. This product is not worth buying again. (read more)

I have been unable to make calls during the first 4 days in December 2006.
Kept getting message "All circuits are busy". They switched my card and access number without me ever knowing. I can no longer call from overseas to the US.
The Cloncom phone card had that feature in the past, but it just got eliminated. Most things that were OK with this card are now gone. (read more)
