Good Points: Playing the Bad Guy
    Death Trap Sequences
    Graphics + AI

Bad Points: A poor relation of the original

General comments: The latest offering in the 007 range - GoldenEye Rogue Agent, is bound to attract comparisons with the original GoldeEye game that was so successful on the N64. However, there are some major differences between the two games. One of the main attractions, and certainly one of the unique features in this game is that it puts the user in the shoes of a crooked MI6 agent rather than that of the suave Bond himself. The plot revolves round an underworld battle that is brewing between some of Bond's greatest adversaries and the basic mission of 'the rogue agent' is to personally profit from the gangland war involving classic Bond villains Goldfinger and Dr. No.
While its fair to say this title is inferior to the original GoldenEye game, it is certainly still an enjoyable game and the added bonus of being one of the villains certainly brings a fresh new angle to the format. Graphically this game is awesome and there has been no stone left unturned in the search to pay full attention to detail. Also watch out for the 'Death Trap' sequences that bring fantastic entertainment. The multi-player function is again far inferior to the original but is still entertaining and certainly value for money. As I have only just bought this game I have not made much progress on it as yet, however the early indications are that this is a decent but not brilliant spy-game.
