I have a Remington 700 police in 243 cal with T8 sound moderator and a Harris bi-pod and was very impressed from the moment I seen it but was even happier after firing a few rounds through it The trigger is just spot on you can acctually feel what the trigger is doing the accuracy was phenomenal at 100 yds I was getting a bullet within a bullet.
The Remington is a well balanced rifle I meen id fired a few other rifles useing the same bullets however the remy seem to be more at ease firing... (read more)

I just shot my new 700p for the first time. After a few rounds to break it in, I was averaging under 1/2 inch at 100 yards with match ammo and about 7/8 inch with match grade. Not bad considering it was my first time firing it - for that matter, the first time ever firing a Remington 700! My only complaint is the clearance between the bolt hande and the scope is very tight. Maybe I should hae used higher rings. (read more)

The 700 PSS is a great rifle i love it , I conberted mine to a 1966 USMC sniper replica with 3X9 redfield acurange scope and accurate innovations walnut stock with aluminum cradle / bedding block for new school accuracy from walnut . Its awesome. (read more)

Looking for a nice sniper rifle, this is it. I have one with a redfield 10X40 scope. First time out of the box 4 clicks down and 2 right. The rifle was on at 100 yds. 6 rounds inside a quarter. Now thats shooting. (read more)

710 is entry level rifle for precision work 700 police; 700vs; 700sendero;700ltr etc are better choices

Remington has so many versions of it's 700, plus other like-numbered rifles that it takes some serious research to understand what they are offering. Their marketing could use some tweaking - especially the website!:o

i dont understand how the rifle can get a Score of <br/>10 +8+10+9.5 and equal 7 overall. that is just stupidity. <br/>has anyone ever learnt how to count an average score of something. <br/>seriously!!
