Good Points: Well presented, Lots of choice, Friendly & imformative staff
Bad Points: Non-sale items a little pricey
General comments: Have visited the Nottingham store twice now. Silverscreen sell just dvds and a few posters but have greater range than competitors like HMV. I am often drawn in by the good sales and the friendly staff who are quick to help and often knowledgeable. The only draw back is that non-chart/sale dvds are often around £20. A bit pricey for casual buyers like myself.

I have been in the Silverscreen Croydon shop twice now, the service has always been great, especially in the Chrismas week, I was spoilt for choice, but the staff were great, all their suggestions ended up as fantastic chritsmas gifts.. wonder if they have a shop in Lewisham....

Today is the 4th of december and it has not come - well they would have phoned. Oh I ordered the film on the 11/09/04 and that was ...

I went into Silverscreen in Nottingham because it looked attractive. All they sell is DVDs and normally I hate these places as they tend to have very loud music and very young men pushing you about. I was approached and asked for help and they found me the Laurel and Hardy DVD with the skit about cleaning professor Noodle's chimney very fast. It only cost £5.99 which seemed pretty good value too.
At the till it took a while to check out as the shop was new and the staff were having a st ...
