Good Points: Easy to use if you leave it on Auto mode but also takes great photos if you really know how to use a camera - I have a photo of geese flying against a sunset that no one would believe was taken on such a cheap camera.
Bad Points: Very slow shutter delay - however this is true of most cameras of this type. Again like all of these compact cameras you will have to have rechargeable batteries - we have good quality batteries and it still gets through 4 - 6 in a full day out.
General comments: I have had my Samsung Digimax 3000 for several years now and if it went wrong I would certainly buy another - what more can you say. The video is not the greatest quality but is better than nothing and the audio record is also handy if you want to take notes.

This Samsung Digimax 3000 camera came to me as a "Freebie" when buying a new computer. I was pleasantly surprised at the features incorporated in this compact little bundle. Takes both SD and MMC memory cards; 12x zoom is excellent for a camers of this size. 3.2 mega pixels is not the top of the range these days, but is more than adequate for most users.
