I decided that buying a smoothie maker was going to be a good option to match the new house, and the Kenwood Concert one was a seemingly good option, and a healthy one too. No more excuses of eating 5 bags of Wine Gums each day and claiming these are my 5 portions of fruit...I was a bit surprised at how loud the smoothie maker can be. It may depend on what fruit you're mixing, but it's louder than my powerdrill! Either way though, this is a sensible investment to get your portions of fruit (my f ...

My advise when purchasing a good blender is to check what component they use at the bottom as many use rubber which wears away in time and this is the issue I have with mine after about 6 months. Kenwood Concert Smoothie Maker is easy to use and most importantly easy to clean. I have had mine for over 5 years and no major problems. Really good product I am on my second one. The pouring nozzle has broke, but if you call Kenwood they are generally happy to send you a replacement.

Overall this Kenwood Concert Smoothie Maker SB256 makes smooth, tasty drinks in just a few minutes. I find it to be noisy during the blending process, especially if ice is added. The stirrer allows you to fully mix all the ingredients and the appliance comes with an easy to follow recipe guide. At only £23.00 I feel that it represents good value for money.
