Good Points: Looks good, mixes fruit good, great suction.
Bad Points: Shreds thread to easily, noisy, tap blocks to easily.
General comments: My advise when purchasing a good blender is to check what component they use at the bottom as many use rubber which wears away in time and this is the issue I have with mine after about 6 months. The motor works fine but doesn't work anymore as the rubber grooves have worn away which makes it useless. Admittedly I used ice in mine but why shouldn't I. I want a nice cold smoothie! I have used this for over 7 months regularly but found it very noisy, the fruit can block the tap. I have had to chuck mine away after 7 months of use, and I have bought a Phillips HR2094 which I have to say is the best I have ever owned, it crushes ice with ease, makes fantastic ice cold smoothies, blends to perfection, my advice pay that little bit more and buy a product that will last, this smoothie maker is OK for a cheap fix.

Kenwood Concert Smoothie Maker is easy to use and most importantly easy to clean. I have had mine for over 5 years and no major problems. Really good product I am on my second one. The pouring nozzle has broke, but if you call Kenwood they are generally happy to send you a replacement.

Overall this Kenwood Concert Smoothie Maker SB256 makes smooth, tasty drinks in just a few minutes. I find it to be noisy during the blending process, especially if ice is added. The stirrer allows you to fully mix all the ingredients and the appliance comes with an easy to follow recipe guide. At only £23.00 I feel that it represents good value for money.
