Good Points: Good screen quality
Big buttons
Bad Points: Messaging
Alarm
Reliability
It's very big
General comments: The text messaging is annoying on the Motorola E1000 because you can't set it to predictive and you have to change it every time you send a message. It's also annoying if you want to set your alarm to go off every day because you have to reset it every single day! And the phone isn't really reliable. It stopped working properly, then it started working again. Then it stopped charging and I had to send it to 3 who gave me a new one, but the red button doesn't work on the new one, so it's really difficult to hang up or switch off. The camera is alright, but there is no flash, just a light. If you just want to ring people then I guess it's an alright mobile phone.

The Motorola E1000 is a great mobile phone. I have had no problems with it so far. The coverage is perfect where I live, so calling is clear and fluent. The camera quality is better than I expected, and the 8x zoom doesn't take any clarity out of the pictures.
Screen quality is amazing, and the screen is very big and bright. It displays things very clearly. The design is one of the best things about the phone. The buttons on the side of the screen work very well and look great. The phone is m ...- Read rory10's review (180 words)

I bought the Motorola E1000 mobile phone due to the cheap deals for mega minutes, and I have regretted it since.
It has a shed load of features that I don't use, and the address book is difficult to navigate. The battery lasts a day on just normal calls.- Read rossclifford's review (58 words)

I got a Motorola E1000 mobile phone a few months ago. It was fine until it started not to charge, then the battery went flat, and since about June it hasn't worked. I handed it into Vodafone, and they said a component in the phone had corroded which wasn't covered by the warranty. They won't do anything about it, so I am steaming! Can anyone help please?- Read bilbobaggins's review (86 words)

OK, so the Motorola E1000 mobile phone has to be the best phone I have ever had!! The sound quality is amazing (especially if you put you fingers over the speaker holes to block out the piercing treble). It has a great camera, and it is so easy to put things on your phone. If you spend £20 and buy a memory card, then you can fit 300 MP3 files onto your phone, which is better than a lot of of MP3 players. The screen quality is great, and the phone is incredibly easy to use. I think the ...- Read pixieskater's review (354 words and 1 comment)

The Motorola E1000 is a nice phone, I am very satisfied so far, the only major problem is that I have to restart phone a couple of times per day due to it can not connect to GPRS services after the phone used 2G roaming where 3G is not available.- Read mikasnd's review (128 words and 1 comment)

The Motorola E1000 has great potential to be the greatest phone of the year and of the Motorola era. It exceeded all expectation of mine, and was a far better quality phone than its rival the Siemens CX1.- Read FunStuff101's review (70 words)

I owned my Motorola E1000 for 2 weeks and sent it back as I didn't like it as much as my old NEC E616. I'm a bit of a txt addict and that was the main thing I didn't like about this phone. The things that annoyed me about it were:
1. You had to check if txts went into more than one page - it didn't tell you automatically
2. I couldn't seem to get the delivery reports to stay on all the time - you could only set them up per txt as far as I could work out
3. After being on the screen saver for ...- Read Libragirl's review (288 words and 2 comments)

Only had my Motorola e1000 4 days but here we go! I've always had the natty phones with lots of features - usually on their first day of launch. Toys, inter-connectablity, and style is important to me.
I've been with 3 on the original LG and decided to move to the new e1000 due to all the low rate charge packages which are around. I bought online, ordered at 6:15pm it was delivered to work at 08:30am the next day (Carphone warehouse). 500 mins and 100 texts at £15 a month (via chequ ...- Read freddy9999's review (613 words and 1 comment)

I had my doubts when I got this phone on the talk and text 900 deal with The Link online. To be honest, I thought the Motorola E1000 would be cheap and cheerful, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This is my first Motorola phone, and I am pleased with its easy to use menu and many functions. If you are looking for the phone with everything, look no further - the E1000 has MP3 player, camera, video camera, and Bluetooth Technology and the usual standard features.
It is easy to call people, and ...- Read smartiegrrl's review (294 words)

The Motorola E1000 is probably the best phone I've ever had as I have been with 3 since over a year. I started with the Motorola A835 and at the time it was ok but had a lot of problems then I moved onto the NEC e228 which was a nice phone and then to the LGu8120 which I don't have any problems with it regarding other peoples reviews. I like this phone due to its 1.2mp camera and it has a good night mode and when used with the flash I was able to take pictures in near darkness. I like the style ...- Read bg5067's review (300 words)

I'll be honest - if it wasn't for the number of crazy offers about regarding 3's tariffs, I'd probably have a different phone. However, 3 is pretty much untouchable in terms of vfm, and this is considered to be the best 3g phone around, or at least the best one on 3, so it was E1000 or nothing at all.
I'm a bit of a phone buff/nerd/fanatic, so I checked out the E1000 thoroughly before I made my choice, and it pretty much ticked all my boxes for modern super-phone requirements: 262k colour scree ...- Read Seb's review (1351 words and 1 comment)

I decided to get the Motorola E1000 after umming and aring between this and the A1000 for a few weeks. In the end (of course they're completely different phones) I went for the E1000 because I know I'd spend hours playing on mame when I should be doing phd stuff if I'd got the A1000.
The phone is really really good. When I was putting the battery in to charge for the first time, I got a vague whiff of the CD930 (an OLD Motorola h/s) but three days on I figure I must have been halucinating.
