Good Points: Multi-Level, complex without being cumbersome. Strategy meets adrenallin. Multi-platform Mac/PC/Unix all from same installer. It's only £20
Bad Points: No Instruction manual (information can be obtained by the game or the web but it would be nice to have the basic points in a handbook)
General comments: Uplink is great - Hollywood hacking at its best. Feel like a hacker and conduct your business within this environment without getting in trouble! It is an addictive game for all the strategy fanatics and played in real time you have to be about your metal to avoid being caught. Buy upgrades to your gateway to allow higher-end hacking and build a reputation as a Techno-Mage! There is a great online forum for uplink via uplink.co.uk where questions are answered, modifications are posted and discussed and general banter about the game and other things go large. If you like being a bit of a nerd and get a buzz about the idea of being a hacker but know that you don't fancy ending up in jail this one's for you
