The 411, Between the Sheets is a fairly accomplished debut from this girl band who create a convincing mixture of RnB and hip hop. While some of the songs are a bit less than deep and meaningful, the tunes are catchy, the vocals soar and the girls certainly have the attitude and charisma it will take to propel them to stardom. They show their influences on this CD from '60's girl groups to soulful RnB to hardcore hip hop, especially apparent on their collaboration with Ghostface Killah, and it's a great combination. Hopefully their second album will improve a bit on this and they will live up to their potential of Britain's answer to Destiny's Child.
