    Bad Points: First I had the 1500 and the program never worked right. I sent it back and they gave me the 1530 It worked for awhile now I'm ready to put it in the trash.


    General comments: Don't buy Cyberhome.

    DO NOT BUY, Worst piece of junk ever. Had a Cyberhome 1500 that kept locking up, support was no help. Finally it was recalled and I opted for the 1530. Bad mistake. Features were not as good and this one locked up during recording. After 3 weeks and 8 e-mails to support, they finally said that there is a problem and to send it back. Sent it back and received a new one which prodeeded to do the exact same thing. If you program it to record an hour show, you may get 3 minutes, 6 minutes or 16 minu ...

    Struggled with this product for two weeks before returning to store. Store clerk mentioned that they have had many returns due to DVD tray locking up. Customer support is very poor, their canned answer is ship it back to us (at your expense).

    If your thinking of buying a Cyberhome CH-DVD 1530, DO NOT.

    This is one of the worst purchases I have made. The first DVD 1500 lasted all of three weeks prior to a major Firmware failure. After paying for shipping to repair the system was returned, one week later same failure.
    Product was then recalled.
    After choosing the 'new' 1530 instead of the 1500 I thought that would be the end of it. Shipping costs incurred I was pleased to receive the new product. Opened the box, plugged it in.....h ...
