    Good Points: Very simple to use, and connected in minutes.
    Good sound quality, on screen graphics, easy to follow with words changing colour to let you know when to start and stop, and it looks the part with the flashing lights, and they are optional, so I don't agree they are a safety issue for kids (as some would say)
    All in all it is a good package, great value for money and loads of fun!


    Bad Points: Quite a bulky item with large speakers, so you need to have space for it.


    General comments: The Pop Idol KL1 karaoke machine is, in my opinion, the best model in the Pop Idol range. The newer model which was bought out after the KL1 is not a patch on this one. Everyone who saw it commented on how nice it looked and sounded. Both old and young had a fabulous time with this machine, and my parties always go with a swing when I get this system out!

    The Pop Idol KL1 Karaoke is a versatile machine as it has both CD and cassette options, therefore allowing you to record your own performance. It is easy to use and set-up as the machine simply connects to the television that which displays all the lyrics. It has a nice disco lights feature to help set the tone and will certainly be a great Christmas present for children and drunk relatives!
