Good Points: Three great tracks from this vastly underrated Scottish rock outfit.
Bad Points: Nope...none at all!
General comments: Baby Chaos, Buzz - February of 1994 saw the re-release of the track 'Buzz' as a single/E.P., with this East West version. The three track single was available on both CD (in a digi-pak) and 12" Vinyl.
The tracklisting is as follows:
1. Buzz
2. Coming Clean
3. Ether
The first track, 'Buzz,' appeared earlier as the A-Side on the 1993 E.P. of the same name, released through Electric Honey Records. Another re-recording of 'Buzz' also appeared on the 'Safe Sex, Designer Drugs & The Death Of Rock 'n' Roll' album.
The second track is the riff-heavy B-Side 'Coming Clean'. In classic Baby Chaos style, Chris Gordon delivers rather sleazy vocals, with some great, catchy lyrics. The track holds up to the band's A-Side numbers well, bringing a clean rock sound and proficient guitar work with it.
Lastly, we have the fast-paced, sleaze-rock number titled 'Ether'. One of their heavier numbers, the track sports aggression and sleaze to create this B-Side masterpiece.
All in all, the single includes three great tracks from this underrated Scottish rock outfit. Well worth getting your mitts on!
