Good Points: Colour, entertaining, well produced and an enjoyable read!
General comments: Dick Johnson, Tried & Toasted: The Definitive Guide To Toasties - Tried and Toasted is quality, I was laughing my head the whole way through! Who would have thought a book on a snack such as the toastie could be a good read.
The "important" sections on Health and Safety and Toastie Etiquette ("Novice toastie consumers frequently embarrass themselves with shocking breaches of etiquette") are very good. Along with the history and Top Toastie Tips sections.
There are also some really good toastie ideas, but there is also a section called: "Time Wasting Toasties" in which a friend is "drunk enough and also, importantly, hungry enough" to try a cat food toastie!!
All in all a great book and one that I'll be giving some of my friends for Christmas!
