Bad Points: Not easy to fine tune exact requests for artists i.e. didnt recognise Elvis on its own
General comments: Very easy to log on and buy music
Have a more explicit breakdown of types of music i.e. 60's 70's etc. Country & Western, Meditation music etc. Well recommend Tesco Downloads.com

Easy to use. Works first time and provides alternative to Fascist Jobs products, well recommend Tesco Downloads, the only bad thing I have to say about it is the Separate login from normal tesco is irritating.

Tesco Downloads just didn't work for me at all full stop. The download took 10 seconds and then played the first 3 seconds of every track. The sample worked OK of course.
Waiting for reply from help service but not holding my breath. Enough to stop me using Tesco completely.

I downloaded a lot of music from Tesco but then I changed some hardware on my computer. Since doing this I can no longer play Tesco tracks. I tried getting help from them but all they did was send me the same e-mail 3 times!
In the end they e-mailed me and refunded my money but I can now no longer play any tracks from Tesco. And I didn't have the receipt for all my downloads so I lost money on them.
Every little helps my bum.

It is very easy to use and the music is very reasonable. I would rather use Tesco Downloads rather than another company because I trust their brand name.

Tesco Downloads site is ok if you just want to save tracks to your computer and play them from there. However if you want to burn them to a cd despite the licenses saying that you can do that, you can't. Total con.

I wish I had checked here before giving away money to Tesco music downloads.
I have Windows XP, Windows Media player 10 and AOL Broadband.
Regardless, the downloads were unplayable, as there are problems with downloading the licenses.
The online Tesco help is rude and unhelpful.
They try to blame your computer and deny liability for a refund.
This is not true, and do not allow the online customer care to convince you of this. They just quote from "the useless textbook of how not to he ...

Tesco Downloads was easy to use and I liked that it was a pay-as-go service as some sites require a subscription fee. I downloaded 8 songs luckily without problems . Didn't know what a download code was or where to get one and couldn't find it on the help site to explain it. However I was still able to have my tracks.

My advice to anyone reading this is, do not use Tesco for music downloads, I have purchased about twenty tracks, a number of these I had to re-download as problems occurred with some of the downloads. One of the tracks I purchased, would only download as a read file only and could not be used at all. After contacting online Tesco customer Service a number of times, they would not confirm whether their source file was corrupt, nor would they refund the money, even though there own terms & conditi ...

I wanted one track from Tesco Downloads (www.tescodownloads.com) as a present for my Father in Law, Amarillo by Tony Christie. Tesco would only sell the 3 that were on the single. I paid £1.99, clicked download and choose download as zip.

Tesco Downloads - The site was as you would expect from Tesco. Easy to use, fairly fast and logical with less than 3-4 pages to get out, and club points. The checkout was painless, and thank you Tesco for not needing to enter my address+ shoe size to buy a track! Surprising was the good amount of UK Independent stuff - not on iTunes, as well an impressive back catalogue.
