Good Points: Provides great feel for players.
Easy to bend for lie and loft, makes for good customization.
Forging provides consistent feel throughout the set.

Bad Points: Not as forgiving as cavity back designs, definitely for better players who hit the sweet spot the majority of the time.

General comments: I recently built a progressive set of irons which included 600XC (3-5), 600C (6-8) and 600B (9-PW). I wanted more forgiveness in the longer irons and more feel in the shorter ones. I definitely accomplished that goal. All of the clubs in this mixed set work very well together and feel very solid. When hit off the sweet spot, you definitely know it and can feel where on the face the ball was struck. The 600B in the scoring clubs was a great match for my Snake Eyes original forged wedges. Being that these two clubs a shorter than the others it is much easier to hit the sweet spot consistently and the spin on the clubs is more than adequate. The clubs are bent 1 deg flat and are 1 inch longer than standard with stiff True Temper Tri-Gold Shafts and Snake Eyes Midsize Grips. I am an 8 HDCP and would recommend these irons for any player who likes a traditional shaped iron and feel of a forged club at a decent price.
