Good Points: A awesome A-Side that is complemented perfectly by two truly inspired B-Sides.
Bad Points: Nope.
General comments: Wildhearts, Stormy In The North,Karma In The South [CD2] - In January of 2003, the Wildhearts released the rock 'n' roll treat that is 'Stormy In The North, Karma In The South' through Snapper Records. The single came out in three parts (CD1, CD2 and a 'Making Of The Video' DVD). The two CDs both contained two B-Sides each. This review is for the second CD part. The single managed to fly up to number 17 in the UK Charts upon release.
The tracklisting is as follows:

2. You Got To Get Through What You've Got To Go Through To Get What You Want, But You Got To Know What You Want To Get Through What You Got To Go Through.
3. Move On
The A-Side track 'Stormy In The North, Karma In The South' was the first collaboration between frontman Ginger and guitarist C.J. The track boasts a gloriously heavy nature with the trademark Wildhearts melodic sound pumping through its veins. The track blasts off with a massive wall of guitars thumping at your speakers. The whole song races through with haunting memories of 'Earth Vs' numbers with a more savage twist genius!
Next we have the rock-tastic, riff-heavy track 'You Got To Get Through '. The verse delivers a fast-paced 'Fishing For Luckies' style of a sound with a monsterous chorus that will have you singing along to the almost chant-like words. The track races through towards a funky bridge that is thrown in to be swallowed up by the chant-a-thon chorus to the end.
Lastly we have the feelgood B-Side 'Move On.'A foot-tapping number that locks itself securely in your brain, 'Move On' sounds like it would fit perfectly on the later released album 'The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed.'Heavy in places with well-dispersed, melodic guitar moments and addictive vocals, this song is set to be another fan favourite.
All in all, the Wildhearts have managed to produce another knock-out single that will please new and old fans immensely. Classic Wildhearts catchy tracks with chunky riffs and melodies to get you bouncing, this release is a winner.
