    Good Points: Excellent sound quality from 20-bit DAC, the mid-range adjustment is very useful and makes a difference. Not huge on features, but makes up for it in sound and build quality.


    Bad Points: Not much feature-wise, but the best stuff never has! Bit of a let down on the tuner side.


    General comments: The Nakamichi CD-45z is an excellent machine overall without any of the flashing bells and whistles. A tad on the expensive side (£450), but bargains can be found. Had to sell it (unfortunately) and was for sale for ages, as don't think many people know what it is and how good they really are. Heard the new stuff is even better.
