Went here for the first time after reading the "good" reviews only to get bouts of diarrhoea the next day!
2 of us went on a Friday evening.
First impression - Absolute chaotic place. waited for 10min and we were taken to a table for two.
Taste & Quality - ALL the items were dripping in oil and the first bite/smell made us realise that the oil was reused way too many times. The ice-cream for deserts smelt and tasted like chemical.
Next morning massive tummy discomfort and poop turned out… Read Full Review

NAAWAB, LEVENSHULME, MANCHESTER
I eat ALOT of curry. I have been to probably every restaurant in rusholme and loads around the country.
Nawaaab is by far the WORST food I have ever eaten. Myself and my partner tried a little bit of every dish (to give it a chance) and we though tthat it was all POOR.
the curry sauce is waterey with no flalour. the rice is pure salt. the starters are all horrible greasy things. the only edible thing as the naan bread. which wasnt great.
nothing is fresh and… Read Full Review

Asked for drinks with no ice when arrived had ice so requested another, waiter was rude and told me to take ice out if i did not want it so i did on table an asked him to clear it up. Approached manager who wasnt very helpful and… Read Full Review

The Nawab restaurant in Levenshume is comparable to a cattle market. It
is not a place where you can enjoy a meal with friends and family in a relaxed atmosphere .Parking facility is a nightmare.
the staff unfriendly. Whilst ordered bottled water, jugs of Cola etc.. are brought to your table,Tap water is not You must get up and walk to a dispenser, through a tightly packed restaurant, to a tap and fill your glass. A request for a jug of water was refused. which is illegal.

This place is very busy, very loud but very good food.
Food is placed in small vats, so it is not reheated food you are eating and as such the food is pretty much tender.
You can see the cooks cooking the food.
No free water
Expensive drinks, especially with it being spicy food.
very hard to get waiters attention- certainly overworked and underpaid- dont look happy at all, and their service is very rushed.
Feel a bit rushed to finish meal- compounded by waiters quickly taking… Read Full Review

Great food and nice surroundings let down by the fact that their soft drinks are expensive and there is no free water. You have buy their over-priced bottled water.
The toilets were incredibly smelly - so make sure you "go" before you arrive.
