    Good Points: Wonderful location. Great people. A lot of fun.


    Bad Points: Food could have been better. Very repetitive. Entertainment not great. Lots of games that you'd expect at a butlins type camp site. In house band were good.


    General comments: We got married at Point Village on the beach and couldn't fault the service. The wedding package was included in our holiday price which we got at a very reasonable price. The setting was just beautiful and they couldn't have been more helpful. My flowers were beautiful as was the cake. We had a truly wonderful day. The beach is one of the best I've ever been to. Totally private. Not like many of the other hotels along the strip. It also had fabulous rock pools and exciting areas for snorkelling. The grounds were immaculate and everyone extremely friendly. The evening entertainment wasn't that great but it didn't matter as we met great people and the staff were a lot of fun. Would we go back? You bet we would. Hopefully for our anniversary.

    Overall we still had a fantastic stay Jamaica, but Point village was only okay, it could be a good resort if those in power were willing to put in a little extra effort and rectify the problems I have outlined, which in my humble opinion could be simply done.The frustrating thing was that the resort was locked off at night so we couldn't walk down the beach to the night-life in Negril, we found that after 9.00pm the hotel were unable to find us a taxi, dinner was at 7.30pm so this was ridiculou ...

    Best holiday I have ever been on in my life. Loved every minute of being at point village. Great excursions to places like Dunns river falls, Loads to do, tennis, snorkelling, glass bottom boat rides, jet skies. Food is amazing loved the jerk chicken. Has a private beech and pool. Rock pools are great I sat down there with a couple of drinks at night. Paradise. The staff where the best. Would recommend to anyone!!

    After booking our holiday and reading some of the reviews about Point Village in Negril we were apprehensive to say the least. We can honestly say that we would recommend point village to any age. We travelled with our teenage son who didn't want to return home. He met staff and played football daily, and also met a lovely Jamaican girl who was also on holiday. They have kept in touch ever since.
    The food was excellent and we could not fault it.

    Negril, Point Village - I will recommend this resort to all those that are not very fussy. It's not a luxury resort like Beaches or Sandals. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You will not spend much time in them. The grounds have a bit of everything. Adult beach, family beach, rocky coves too. Buffet restaurant very varied day to day. Theme nights were great fun.     I have just returned from a beautiful vacation at Point Village. I visited with my partner. I would recommend a visit to everyone. It was like a dream. Staff are very friendly and will go out of there ways to make friends with you. The food is also good, as I am a fussy eater I expected there would not be a big selection that would appeal to me but point village offer a range of different kinds of foods that will be like by everyone.     As always in life no perfect day exists! With respect and peace to all at Point Village, many employees sought us out to say goodbye and hoped for our return! That is why my only 10 star rating goes to the staff, with all their smiles and wishes, and kindness they truly make Point Village a "Village" to enjoy!

    Check in at Point Village took way to long 75 min. They said the room was not ready YET. No ski boat not running all Week. Food was not on par with other all inclusive vacations. kids could not use the water slide not yet 48" tall. We were not told about the limits until we got there. Swimming pool water not clear all week. Room just ok. Will not go back NOT worth the money.....

    The Point Village hotel was absolutely fantastic!
    We got married whilst we were there and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful or friendly!
    The hotel beaches were fabulous and well thought out. There was a family beach and a topless beach. Staff walked around them moving people if there behaviour was inappropriate.
    The food was fantastic and well varied with different restaurants like Jamaican and Italian and the main food hall. All the food we tried was great!
