Good Points: Good treasure hunt adventure.
Bad Points: A bit too Disney at times, but don't be put off.
General comments: National Treasure is a cracking little action adventure. Nicholas Cage is basically searching for some hidden treasure left by previous American leaders, Ben Franklin, et. al. A lot of people don't believe it's real and his family is a laughing stock for chasing the treasure. Anyway, he's on to it as is Sean Bean who's the 'Bad Guy'. It's a bit of a race made more intriguing by the 2 needing each other's help even though they are desparate to beat the other one to the treasure. It's a really good film, Indiana Jones for the new millenium! Well maybe not that good, but very enjoyable. Afterwards I wanted to go on a treasure hunt myself!

National Treasure - An enjoyable movie for all the family, with a good storyline of Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) who is on a treasure trail passed down from his parent and grandparents with a belief that they have a clue to find hidden treasure. Each time they solve the puzzle of a clue left hundreds of years ago they find they again have one more clue to follow. A race to find the treasure is on as the bad guys are on the trail too.
